Heh...looks like you are not the kind of guy who laughs to stupid people. For me funny video.

I only wish. Can you teach me your ways? I will call you master, or maestro, or meister, just teach me to laugh at things like those instead of getting my blood to boil :fury:

Sorry, but this post is full of self-entitlement as well. You generalize, simplify and judge on other people for no apparent reason other that they don't share your personal views which makes everyone else toxic or whatever.

How about just respecting that lore is indeed important for some people and they have at least as much common sense as you while doing so? Or how about respecting that streamlining isn't a welcomed feature for some people. You have no right to judge on other people as you would be some neutral grey eminence here. For some people roleplaying and lore is a big part of the fun and taking away from it makes the game juss less entertaining. And that is a real fact, no made-up crap like some of the accusations in your post here.

The devs don't need you to defend them, be asured. Nobody needs apple polishers who act like they were entitled so something, not even the devs. I'm pretty sure CDPR is quite able to deal with the criticism on this forum and tbh. it's not so bad like you described it here. It seems to me that some people here just disagree with you and that brings you to the conclusion that all the others are bringing the community "in a bad state". But in facts, posts like yours segregate the community. We others just discuss TOPICS you know. Be critisize features or we defend them. It's still a very much rational discussion. Posts like yours here don't help at all, pointing with the fingers on others while acting in the same way...

So please, if you disagree with people who think lore is very important and streamlining is bad participate in the actual discussions and try to come up with real arguments there to make your point. But don't act like a victim of a rude community, that's just pointless and not very helpfull at all.

I wasn't being self-entitled at all, but if you feel like that okay.
I was just letting off steam about some of the things I've seen around here. It has nothing to do with others disagreeing with me. I don't even post enough in threads like those to the point where people start disagreeing with me.
And streamlining isn't the same as dumbing down, if things like the recommended potions being in the corner after reading the beastiaries just like in the other games is dumbing down than I don't know what to tell you. It saves time and is simpler and more efficient, hence streamlined.
And I don't mind if people enjoy the lore, I enjoy lore in my games as well. I was talking about the people that are actually acting entitled, and are taking the lore to the extreme. To the point where it defies common sense and a general grasp of how a game works or a games limitations, whether it be due to dev skill or time available etc.
Some lore has to be bent to make a better game. And I'm only annoyed at the people that act as if they know better than CDPR on what makes a better game.
I don't mind the discussion of whether the potion system is a good idea, or if the Witcher senses mode looks like it's handholding too much and all the rest.
I enjoy seeing people's views on actual issues that might actually make the game worse for it.
But things like not letting Geralt use a bloody crossbow because it's a sin of the highest order to take down flying enemies, is just silly.
Apparently even though the game is taking place quite a while after the books and Geralt's views on using crossbows might of changed it's not on.
Or that the lore can't be expanded in CDPR own adaptation even though Sapkowski has given CDPR his blessing to make the games as they see fit.

But no, I'm obviously "a victim of a rude community" for expressing my views.
And if that post makes me entitled, your post says the same about you.
That sort of reasoning goes both ways, so lets not go down that route.

Ok. Lesson number one. Take this:

Got to the pub and bring it back filled with beer so master will have something to drink after he will shout at you whole time.

And again you accuse others for not having common sense just because they have different tastes and opinons than you. How is that not being self-entitled? That's not reasoning, that the opposite.

For some people lore is extremely important and they have every right to feel that way. And they have every right to voice their opinion. The former Witcher games were super fun without a crossbow. So how is it "against common sense" if some people are still against it? That's not reasonable at all, that's just pushing your own opinion on everyone else. And sure, everyone not sharing your opinion has no idea about game development and lacks in common sense in general...

Nobody who talks about his own opinion (you know, about your own opinion and not about other people...) can be called entitled. If I said that I want an extreme high level of lore in the game and that I wished CDPR would do that it's still just my opinion. There is nothing wrong with that and there is no entitlment involved in that.

Pointing with the finger on others and presenting yourself as you were better than those who you critisize, that's entitlement, sorry. ;)

MOD: Inappropriate comments removed

Anyhow, dear CDPR devs - please for the love of all that is holy in gaming - take most of the negative advice on these forums with a grain of salt.
