I've requested a small thing on previous pages. (a small detail from E3 footage)

There is a line under sentence of quest below minimap.
Look at the line under the white colored sentence;

not to be rude but not only did i have to squint my eyes to see that but what does it add?
also a rectangle is not a "feature"

Hey so i noticed something odd, idk if it's suposed to be like that, but when i activate the sign menu, by just clicking "Tab", everything freezes but when i activate it by holding "Tab", everything is in slow motion like on E3. Is this intentional? Would it be possible to make it always work like on E3?

it's far, far too much work to make it happen. The prep menu swf already in the game files is broken beyond repair(with JPEXS) , it was clearly never deigned to be used in the final game.
The alternative is to make one using an existing working panel (probably inventory), however whilst not complelety impossible it is hard and tedious and frustrating, Erx and I looked at what it would take to make it happen and it was simply too much work, and we were not going to bother ourselves with it.
It's also not worth the work when it provides no additional functionality, everything can be done with the bestiary and inventory.

 


few updates to the character panel. Previously you couldnt tell if you had already acquired a skill when you didnt have it active.
now the soft glow like frame indicates if a skill is acquired and the hard coloured frame if the skill is active. Also the e3 xbox buttons have been added when placing a skill.

If not the preparation screen, maybe you would add a optional inventory combat stance, instead of the normal standing Geralt animation?

i dearly second this.
There's this position Geralt takes after giving a last blow with his sword, it's almost exactly like the E3 except the head direction. i'd love to have this feature in the game. it'll bring life to the inventory

so you think a STATIC pose would "bring life"?
first time i've heard that [ STATIC over DYNAMIC]

anyways if i was you i would not hold my breath for that to be added anytime soon [if at all]
 
We have spent quite some time during development thinking about and looking for an animation for the inventory stance. We have found none that worked as we wanted. So to avoid any kind of problems, we decided to stick with vanilla. Sorry.
And yes preparation was not worth fixing.
