Edit save file to change between Shani and Triss?

*Spoilerish if you haven't beaten the first game.*

I just finished playing through TWEE and I want to use my save to import into TW2. In my playthrough I chose Shani (because I just don't trust Triss) but upon learning that the Shani relationship ends and will not carry over, I wanted to change my save file so it's as though I picked Triss. I'm happy with all of my other decisions in the game.

I've already tried the Save Editor but that isn't an option. Is this possible? I'd prefer to use my own save files rather than downloading one of the saves others have uploaded.

No it`s not possible with the save editor . It may be possible with the Djinni editor but even that may be problematic . To be quite frank here not that many choices from witcher 1 affect witcher 2 at all . You do get your armor and swords and a small amount of orens to start with . If you chose Shani in the first game you will get a journal entry stating why she`s not in witcher 2 but if you chose Triss you don`t get a journal entry it just is what it is . Honestly I would just go with your save for the 1st play and then download a save for your 2nd play to see the differences .

Keep your Shani choice to see how it plays out when Geralt's past is revisited for Witcher 3.

Not every choice has to have an overt result.
