You can still do it though, you have like a split second to loot the corpse before Iorveth comes in.

The corpse is still there, but it can be unusually hard to find. It's not a new problem, either.

If you miss it, you can buy any item for Melitele's Heart that you missed anyway, so Melitele's Heart is not broken.

Some bugs that are not new, but are not fixed:

If you imported an Order save from TW1 and talk to Count Tybalt in the Kaedweni camp, he says he gives you something, but nothing is added to your inventory.

Also, if you spare Adam Pangratt in "The Siege of Vergen", he says he gives you something, but nothing is added to your inventory.

360-only.

Trapdoor to the basement at the House on the Cliff doesn't open after casting Aard. (Chapter 2, the trigger for the Bygone Era quest)

There's a couple of reports of this one, so I'm starting to think it is a bug. Can other 360 owners confirm one way or the other, and say which path you're on? If you got it to work, how?

(360-only. It's still working fine for PC).

I got it to work on Roche's path. Seems like the problems are accessing this quest on Iorveth's path (unless I missed something). It didn't automatically cast Aard when I pressed the button at the prompt, though, so I manually cast it and it worked.

EDIT:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zbEC1sD3gQ&feature=youtu.be

~6:10 you can see the prompt change from "cast Aard sign" to "descend," despite the barrels still being there and clicking the button to descend doing nothing. The Aard after that is manual.

I'm sorry but the wheel bug for the Vergen Besieged quest is in fact pretty important and I feel like that should be handled as soon as possible, to me it is the most important issue so I will treat it as such as I literally can not move forward in the game without it being fixed, so don't tell me not to do something please.

You can downoad the critical rebuild which is around 4 gigs from the link here (number 10, the "error creating temporary file" one). It's around 4 gigs, but that's still smaller than having to redownload the game. You should be able to apply the critical rebuild, get past the wheel part, then repatch back to EE afterward. Or, if you don't want to go through that trouble then just use my pack of saves. Annoying, I know, but at least RED knows about it so there's a good chance of it getting fixed. In the meantime, you have options.

EDIT: Negged just because someone doesn't like how few solutions currently exist? Classy. Maybe next time protest to someone who actually has the power to make a fucking difference. Just a thought.

Sorry, maybe I didn't understand... I just need to download the game again? Not to replay it? That would be great for me.

While we all recognise that some issues are considered high-priority by some players, repeated postings on the same issue in this thread are not helpful to others, and will not get the problems resolved faster.

Details of the Vergen Besieged issue and the available workrounds are here.
http://en.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29333-game-broken-vergen-besieged/

Please therefore resist any urge to spam this, or any other issue, in threads such as this one, which is intended to be a full bug list, or threads on non-related subjects.

You may treat this as a warning.

@227 - thanks for your prompt reply on the Hut on the Cliff basement issue.
Follow-up thread is here for anyone experiencing it:

Screw it, I'll just start the game over so I can see all the new content anyway.

A problem that has been in my game since release is that sometimes when initially opening up panels or starting a conversation, the mouse loses functionality, and the only way to make it 'unstick' is to press left mouse button. When I do this, it starts working again. But this means I'm continually forced to select an option I don't want.

@taglag - I suggest you start a new thread for your technical problem (and also consider updating to a later version), so that responses don't get mixed in with all of the other topics.

@slim - your mouse problem? It may be worth seeing if others have it, but I suspect it's just you. Ask in a new thread maybe? (If you already have, ignore me. I've only just logged in)

And my own little bug report:
PC version. Chapter 3, Iorveth, Secrets of Loc Muinne, battle with the Guard after the resonating crystals bit.
If you save after each round, and load from the save, it comes in displaced in space, the play area is about 2 metres "off" from the rendered walls.

Not sure if it qualifies as a bug, but there have been all kinds of weird texture issues. I noticed it most in Chapter 2:

Is that normal? Definitely don't remember ever seeing anything like that in previous versions.

****************edited, okay I just saw there was a 2.0, I will get that***

And then there was 2.1, and after that the Enhanced Edition, which is the current version. You should update to the EE, because this is a bug list specifically for the EE version.

- The Blasphemer's set sword get this screen "effect" when you unsheathe them... When it's raining, this effect turns the screen almost pitch black.

Anyway, this effect is LAME and draws from the game experience, it should be removed completely.

Anything to do with the Loredo's mansion area have some serious sound/music errors/glitchs happning.

Such as dialog disappearing tho ambient sound stays, music disappearing - and so on.

Its been a problem since launch, befor the EE version.

Back on launch day i had a G35 7.1 massive sound problems. Now forward some months i got a xonar 5.1 and a sennheiser headset, and TW2 still give me sound problems at Loredo's mansion tho my saves are luckily not effected this time around. Nowhere else in the game does this happen except that one area, suprised it hasnt been fixed yet.

Second the Loredo mansion issue, music/sound effects are seriously borked around that area.

Hi developers,

Could you fix dying after finisher kill animations, when "game not stopped" and enemies can kill Gerald.

One happened to me, that I started animation as killing Aryan La Valette and I when it died (low HP, lucky kill me?). Please fix there situations.

This is a huge problem on the Xbox, as well, and it's not limited to finishers. I did enough damage to the dragon in the tower to get the cutscene leading to the fight on top, but in the middle of the cutscene it cut to a game over screen because it somehow managed to kill me after the screen had faded to black.

Anyway, this is something I hit on the Xbox 360 version, though I don't have any saves at this point to test whether or not it affects the PC version:

Using the Operator to respec your character leads to that popup. The only reason I took the respec in the first place is because of those damned invisible barriers making it impossible for me to navigate that place during the fight, so the entire Operator experience is a mess. It might have something to do with having gone through the tutorial before playing.
