EE new quests?

Has anyone find where the new Act 3 quests are?

I'm loading a save from last year and I can't seem to find any new quest. Not sure if it's just me or the EE reqires a new playthrough.

Also, I only have the save file for Act 3 on Iorveth's path, not Roche's path (Roche's path I only keep the ending save), so if the old save does work with EE, can someone upload their Act 3 Roche's path save? As much as I want to play a whole new game, currently I don't have that much time so I think I'm gonna settle with just playing the new quests.

For the quest: Lilies and Vipers


I'm pretty sure you can only help Brigida on a Roche playthrough. You'll encounter her once you enter Loc Muinne.

For the quest: The Secrets of Loc Muinne

You should be able to encounter Cynthia within Loc Muinne as well.

Thanks for the reply, just found it myself. Apparently you have to load before entering the center of loc muinne.
When you get there a cut scene will appear.

So does anyone has a Roche savegame? Before entering Loc Muinne or at the end of Act 2.

In a review I read a golem who could talk was mentioned in some tunnels beneath Loc Muinne... does is only happen on the Secrets of Loc Muinne i.e. on Iorveth's path?

The devs have said in several different threads that pre-EE Chapter 3 saved games are DEFINITELY not compatible with the EE. They're not sure about saved games from earlier in the game; pre-EE saved games from Chapters 1 and 2 might be okay. But definitely don't load a Chapter 3 saved game!

I haven't been able to play the Roche's path quest, but yeah, they did mention the golem at the beginning of Secrets of Loc Muinne.
Since you're meeting totally different characters on Roche's path, I doubt they'll say anything about the golem.

in fact it makes sense (as Brigida story's about Temerain chils and Cynthia was Filipa assistant) but I didn't see mention of that anywhere.

Was it an Autosave? I heard that the devs posted that loading autosaves from before EE in act 3 cause problems with a black screen but I could be wrong.

No, it was not an Autosave, maybe just like others said, the saves from ACT3 doesn`t work but ACT2 does. But now I just want to play the new quests without to restart whole ACT2.

Have you tried loading a save from the end of Act 2? I did that and was able to do new quest. You get it as soon as you reach the city, so you don't have to replay big chunks of the game.

Just go to the Loc Muinne town square and a cut scene will initiate. This is my 4th playthrough (which is why I still have the save) so I used a trainer for money and skills. But I guess if you're looking for save then you've probably finished the game before, hence the maxed out skills wouldn't be that much of a problem.

Thanks for upload the save. I only have Iorveth's save in ACT3, and the progress of Roche's save in ACT2 was too early. So I asked. If you want that early save, leave a Email to me, My Online Disk maybe not work to you.

Well, it's been a week so by now there should be someone with a save before the Lilies and Vipers quest. If you do, please upload it. I know there are a lot of people looking for the same save file.

I think the missed a good opportunity to also include a path-convergence here. It would be nice if you had the chance to do a version of "Vipers and Lilies" coming to Loc Muinne from Vergen and "The secrets of Loc Muinne" coming from Roaches path.
