EE Patch: Movies Corrupted

I started a new thread coz the main problem with the ee patch seems to be solved.

I pre-downloaded then tried to install the ee patch and got the error with unpacking pack0 as so many others did. I manually downloaded the first 2 parts as directed then reinstalled TW2 as my installation got corrupted. Pack0 now goes ok but when I get to the movies files I get "Unable to copy" and "Source file corrupted". The first file I have trouble with is 'final3a_temeria_divided_red_kaed.usm' but there were at least 20 others before I gave up and aborted.

Any ideas?

Hmm....there seems to be a lot of problems with the pre-download patch. Anyway, I can suggest you uninstalling your current copy (but first, back up your saves!) , and downloading and installing the GOG version, as it is already pre-patched to EE. (Of course, you have to have your CD key to get the backup copy there and you need a free GOG account)

Note: It might be possible to solve this issue some other way too, but I don't know how, the above method worked for me.

Hi,

I have almost the same problem. After I got the pack0 error, I manually downloaded all parts of the patch. Then I run MD5 and all files were ok! Now I don't get the pack0 error anymore, but the video files seem to be corrupt. I get the first error with the file dream_05_iorweth.usm!

same as Ixilein, seems to be a problem with patch 30.bin to 35.bin (bad md5 checksum)
