Empty scriptslog
Edit: Problem solved thanks to rmemr. If anyone has the same problem:
1. Go to content/content0
2. Delete .redscripts files (there are 3 of them)
3. Start the game with -debuscripts paramater, it will regenerate scripts with logging.
I can't get scriptslog to work on 1.22 version, and I had this problem on 1.21 too. (I didn't use it before 1.21) I added -debuscripts to game command line, and it creates scriptslog file, then modifies it after each start, but it's just always empty excluding first line:
The game is not logging anything, and I can't log anything myself.
What I tried to do:
- running the game as admin
- verifying game files
- doing a clean reinstall of the game without any mods/console/reshades etc.
- I checked if it's set to read only, but it's not
- I tried using script functions that supposedly enable/disable logging
Nothing helps. Anyone else had this problem and know how to fix it? Some time before when I tried to get it working it sometimes saved few random lines, but maybe in 1 per 10 game starts. I thought that maybe reinstalling the game will help, but I did it now and it's the same.
I have latest build of Windows 10 (but it didn't work on previous one too), all latest drivers, vcredists, I'm using GOG Galaxy (game overlay is disabled)
