endrega contract

is there a secret to killing the queen or does it just take forever? silver sword, insectoid oil, all my signs and traps and bombs and i'm just barely scratching the thing after two hours of wacking. any tips i haven't tried thanks

Heavy attacks from behind whilst trapped, 5-6 hits on dark mode with normal witcher silver sword.

Make her run a trapline of about a dozen snares. She will be much weakened. Use Yrden or Aard to stop her while you beat her up.

When she blocks your strike, she will hit back hard, so get out of there fast. You may have better results running past her than rolling backwards; rolling backwards tempts her to lunge at you, and her lunge is her deadliest attack.

First endrega I killed with the help of Yrden and then hitting from the back (don't remember for how many times). For the second endrega I was lazy alittle bit so I just made lots of bombs 'Dancing star" and just bombed it To my surprise, if you choose correct distance enough, the endrega quen will not atack you, just stands and accepts the hits until it is dead (needed ~20 bombd for that).

You are remembering to attack it from the side or behind?

Creatures like this and the Arachas have different degerees of armor based on what direction your attacking from. Though it is a tough fight if your trying to do it earlier on.

I planted the whole area enclosed by the cocoons with all the traps which I collect, which damages the bug more than 50%. Then topped with Ignii or Aard + strong sword attack
