Enemies not displaying Health Bar

Like the title says, in most occasions the targeting reticle and the enemy's health bars do not appear, or are intermitent. This makes battles a bit harder and countering a lot harder. Any thoughts on how to repair this?

Steam version, pc specs with everything up to date:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits
Intel core i7 2.67Ghz (Overclocked to 3.6Ghz)
6GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5970

Have you verified the game cache . Steam>Library>witcher 2 right click and select properties then click the Local files tab and then verify game cache .
