I started over simply because I wanted to see the new content.Besides my previous saves are still there so I can 'fast foward' if I want.
The novel isn't included in the download version. You'd need to buy either: A) the boxed version of EE, or B) Even better, buy the novel "The Last Wish" which has the chapter that comes with the EE box as well as all the other short stories about Geralt.I recommend buying the book as it's a great read (I finished it recently.)B0real said:Ok thanks. Another little question: How ca i find the novel wrote by Andrzej in the package?
Ok, i think i will follow your advice. Soon i will finish The Elric of Melnibonea series so i will check after for the adventure of Geralt. Look to be a bit in the same style and i will surely love it. ;DTrelard said:I recommend buying the book as it's a great read (I finished it recently.)
alright, that's good to hear, as i just got BETRAYED by GSC Game World when they put that 5 install limit on Clear Sky and they never told anyone until after there were complaints about it.(I bought CS before anyone found out about the install limit)Corylea said:The people at CDPR treat their players well, and there's no install limit crap for The Witcher.
I agree with your theory on the DRM now starting to INCREASE piracy, as I have been saying stuff like that for a long time, ah well, next chance i get to go out i'm gonna hit up gamestop and see if they got any copies in stock... I personally believe that one way to wake them up to the evils of the level of drm that is going on now, is to buy the stuff with no or less intrusive DRM and not buy that crap with install limits. I too was looking forward to spore, and even C&C RA3, but they screwed the pooch on those with that install limit crap. My personal belief is that if they really want to kill piracy, they need to team up with valve and steam, and allow the owners of the games to activate their cd keys on steam, and have the steam version have no drm except steam itself, then there is some drm, very effective drm at that, and yet it isn't that intrusive. I had a feeling the answer was going to be that there was little to no DRM on the witcher EE because of what cd projekt has been doing with gog.com, and I'm glad to see that their policy of no drm (or at max very little drm) is carrying over to the witcher.Corylea said:Yeah, a lot of game companies are getting pretty crazy with their copy-protection stuff. I was really looking forward to Spore, but when I found out about the install limit, SecureRom, and all that crap, I decided that I could do without it. I think the harsh copy protection stuff that most of the game companies are doing now is going to increase piracy, as more and more customers get tired of being treated like criminals. But CD Projekt Red doesn't do that -- not only do they not have copy protection that eats your computer, but they gave away the upgrades from the Enhanced Edition FOR FREE to anybody who bought the original edition. These folks know how to treat a customer, and now they have a band of fanatically loyal players. You'd think the other companies might notice this and get a clue....
