So I just bought the Witcher yesterday and I successfully installed it, but when I go to patch it to get the enhanced edition, because I bought the original game, i cant get it to install. I got past registering and when it goes to rewrite the data, for the enhanced edition, it the program becomes non-responsive and I am forced to exit it, thus corrupting the install. Does anyone know why it is doing that and how I could fix it? Thanks
Can someone from the Support help me play this game.My first computer was very weak to play this game even. I could install it but it would not start. Now, I have a new computer (or beast I might as well say), and it STILL does not want to start. The thing is, when I install the game and register it, the cursor changes and the disk in my dvd-rom starts to spin and then stops. Nothing happens. I am running my account as an administrator. are you sure it was the 1.5 patch, and not a 1.45 or something (if there is one of them around)and did you make sure the patches loaded into the correct program files folder?because the patch worked perfectly for me.

Help me!Have upgraded to Windows 7, installed Witcher 1.0, then Enhanced version (1.4) & English Language Pack and then Patch 1.5.The games plays fine but there is no voice, in other words the english language pack has not installed correrctly. So I have reinstalled twice, and run wircher.exe in compatibility mode all to no effect. Installs were done with anti-v off.PCWizard files attachedJust appears to be one of the new modules which is affected!
hi i just installed the game.... registerd it .. made an account and everything but the game wont work and when i try to check for updates for it i cant find the website ...... when i try to launch the game, screen flickers black then an error pops up and says there was a problem wile trying to run ...... then it closes it???
Problem: I started the instalation of the patch 1.4 and it askes my to write my account id.. ok i registered, inserted the product key - all fine.. e-mail comes.. i'm registered.. so i'm running the instalation again and it askes my again to accout.. so I inserted my account id = error : Registered version of The Witcher wasn't been found, if you want to continue, you have to register the game on this computer... wtf I already registered the game. Please help and sorry for bad english

Hi there, i wanted to play the Witcher again and tried to install the EE Patch 1.4. It always tells me to register my game before installing the Patch.BUT,I cant re-register my Game! I tried the FAQ and i think it did everything that should help.. i also wrote the Support but i got no answer at all. The register.exe says, that i "cant register the game again on this account. The Key is already used by a different user". But it is 100% the same account. I saved the Email from the last Registration and it is the exact same Key.Please help!
