yes I did, but the Uniextract didn't do anything, just a message that it can't extract the file...and when I tried to extract it with 7Zip, there wasn't anything like Setup.exe... maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I just don't know what...because the installation failed, the original game ain't working, so I have to uninstall it and install it again (the original Witcher)

for the second picture the correct command line is: TWEE_Upgrade /extract_all:D:\TWEE_Upgrade ( as the FAQ says; replace D:\TWEE_upgrade with the path of your choice; do remember that there is a SPACE between TWEE_upgrade and the /extract thing )

I am frusteratedNow I'm wondering what do I install first... the chicken or the egg?! ???

You have to make sure you have the RIGHT language pack, first of all. For English, please note that there are two different language packs...one for the US and one for the UK. Also, the two files have to be in the same folder. I suggest creating one separate folder to contain both folders. It doesn't matter where it's located (as long as it's the same drive...usually C:...as the game) or what it's called. Just that they're in the same folder.

yes, it is the strangest prerequisite I have yet to see, but the "one file" in the "one C drive" did the trick.Thankyou.

can you put TWEE_Upgrade.exe in C:\Download\ and extract to C:\Download\TW\ ( so that no special character in name appears ? )also do remember that you have to wait a bit, even if the command prompt is available, the extraction process works in the backgroundafter extraction put the language pack with it's original filename in C:\Dowonload\TW\Setup\ and then run Setup.exe

I never got the extract method to work, FWIW. I tried it numerous times, on multiple computers, and never had any luck.
