So what does its upgrade do? it says extended duration but it lasts as long as a basic swallow potion. Is it bugged?

You get 4 instead of 3 potions at a time.

So its broken. I was hoping either its effect would be stronger or something cause at 20 and above i am finding it to be worthless.

The base and enhanced versions of Swallow both pause healing for two seconds when you take damage. The superior version will continue healing regardless of damage taken.

K tested it out more, each improvement also increases the healing per second. Base is 44 hp / sec, enhanced is 66 and superior is 88

Enhanced Swallow
Drops from: Random Drop from Chest

Upgrades:
Dosage from 3 to 4.
Duration from 20 to 30 seconds.
Potency from 2% to 3% Vitality per second.

Superior Swallow
Can be purchased from the Master Alchemist on Skellige after completing his quest.

Upgrades:
Dosage from 4 to 5
Duration from 30 to 40
Potency from 3% to 4%
Removal of Regeneration Stop after being hit.

Eh you wrong about duration. THe duration for all swallows in 20 seconds. Their duration never rises and that is why i made this thread.

duration only rises via active alchemy abilities.

Does anyone know where I can find the enhanced swallow?

I bought the Enhanced Swallow along with some other potions from a herbalist in Novigrad, try to look here, entrance is from the southern side
