[EPILOGUE] Finished Game Again

Well, I've just finished the enhanced edition of the game, and loved it.As far as the game itself goes, compared to before, I didn't notice a huge difference. Much the same as before, just a few improvements in the characters. I suppose all the work went into making sure you didn't notice what a seamlessly great game it is.I have to say, the ending cutscene is fantastic. I played on the Order side. The final fight between Geralt and the Witcher assassin never fails to impress, even though it's very short. The animation is perfect and the action is fantastic. Very well done!!!

I don't know if any, or all, of that was motion capture. I watched the fighting sections on the Video DVD and didn't realise what an amazing job the stunt guys did. Replaying after watching them, you do notice a lot more of the intricacies in the movement (Watch Leo twirl his sword just before the attack in the Prologue). It made me realise making a game isn't just geeks sitting at a keyboard. ;) :D

I love the acrobatic combat ... it's real eye candy, but it's helps the story along as well and makes playing fun, so i'd say it works on every level :)

Exactly that came into my mind when I saw how the realistic movements are made... never heard of something like motion capture technic before ;D

Oh, motion capture has been around for quite a while...

Did you watch the Lord of the Rings movies, Petra? Gollum's movements were done via motion capture -- it's why a character who's completely CGI looked so real.
