[EPILOGUE] Stuck in Ice Field - please help! - spoilers.

I am in the ice field, Triss has appeared, I have fought 4 Infrits and 3 skullheads. When I get to the narrow ice bridge, Abigail the witch appears but I can't engage her in dialogue, it's like she wants to engage in dialogue but someting prevents it. Beyond the bridge I can see a figure in the entrance to a cavern but Gerallt literally won't/can't walk on the ice past a certain point and I cannot get to the cavern/figure. I have run around all over the Ice Fields and can find no other way around or through. What am I missing, or is this a bug? Please help, I am so close to the end but so far away!!! Triss just keeps saying 'don't give up you will get there', well I can't, and I have no idea why Abigail is there.

If you saved her that's why. Sounds like a bug. She should give you potions, after dialogue. As for the figure inside, you need to make the Skullheads guarding the cave entrance attack you.

Then I guess it must be a bug! I can't believe it after all this effort I cannot complete the game! Should I be able to walk right up to the cave? I can't get near enough to see any skullheads, I killed the ones before the bridge. :-[

Try loading from previous location....vizima or even previous chapter...is not so far behind...

First of all,Hello!You said that you ran all over the Ice Fields..aren't you supposed to be killed instantly by the blizzard if you turn around? That is what happend to me...You can try to save on an empty slot,exit game,re-enter and try to talk to Abigail.In my game I sometimes get a foggy screen and can't use the mouse,like in the dice game or sometimes in my inventory and sometimes when I click the NPC's nothing happens.This happens rarely but it does...and if I exit the game and re-enter it's all OK.Hope it works out.

The blizzard is behind you when you move past the bridge to the outcropping it will come up behind you, cutting the areas in the back off. The skullheads should emerge from the snow on the right side of outcropping about 50 yards from the cave entrance.

I ran all over before I crossed the bridge to see if I was missing a tunnel or something but I guess not. Ive tried over and over restarting from the anti room where you kill the guards and get the key but always with the same result - and I sure as hell don't want to have to fight that Zuegl thing again - took ages :-XThanks all for trying to help. Is there any techies with ideas?I have a new pc with masses of memory and a great graphics card so I don't understand my problem. ???
