No, if you leave Berengar alive like I did, he gives you the Dagon Sap recipe. You get everything on his person if you let him live EXCEPT his medallion (which makes the battle with Azar Javed at the old manor easier) and the 800+ orens he is carrying. If you kill him, you get his letter, the recipe and his medallion as well. I really hated the guy throughout Act IV, such a bastard so I killed him when I met him, but then when I read his letter I felt bad and reloaded to let him live. =pAs for the "Won't Hurt a Bit" quest, I believe what is truly required to finish this quest is the boxer Zdenek's tooth (refugee's cave, near wayfarer stones, chapter v). I did not have a barghest skull to give him yet I was able to complete the quest when I got him the famous boxer's tooth. Your reward is a Mahakam Rune Sihill (which you can also get from The Royal Huntsman if you get all 10 trophies in the game).
I never gave him the barghest skull and i still finished the quest, the things that u require are beast fang, alp fang, devourer fang, cemetaur jaws and boxer tooth and he will give u sihill....Previous to patch 1.1 there is also a bug preventig u from meeting berengar on ur way back from temple(after u get aerondight) to the boat....he remains at fireplace and the game interpretaits it as u have let him live and thats why he comes to ur help when fighting Javed...a patched game should not have this bugninheve said:
Salamandra badges due to bug - I had 10 salamandra badges and after I colect 2 more the other 10 disapare from my inventory, and i culd not find other budges coz i kill all salamandra in 2 chapter.The one with the bridge in 4 chapter when you need to find some belt in order to stop the attack from the little. And affter i went to see the witch the qwest was complete without finding the belt.I first found out of shani party qwest in this forum(maby I miss someting, but it culd be bug).
The badges may have disappeard when u talked to Leuvarden in chapter 2 he buys them from uIt's possible that u already had the belt if u searched the crypt and you put it in the shrinel without noticeing, but still for the quest to be finished u have to give the charm to the builder...Shani party quest is activated if u enter the house and talk to shani she will tell u that she wants to organize a party for the comming of dandelion....and she requests booze from u....I cant remember exactly but I'm preaty sure that u have to complete some previous quest first.....a I remember now, u have to kill the assasins coming at night in the hospital and then talk to her at the hospitral and after that go to the house....but expect granny to throw u out...dulemk said:
