Error 0x87de2726 ( Game won't launch)

I'm having the same issue, except I hadn't attempted to download any DLC. I had in fact been playing the game for only about an hour after purchasing it, when it crashed and wouldn't let me back in at all. I decided to try uninstalling and re-installing, and now it won't even install. I'm getting error 0x80073cf2 now when I try to install. Glad I dropped $59.99, spent an hour and a half downloading, and almost had time to have some fun with it....

making very confuse why is the console making me go online when i attempt to play the game offline. maybe there are others games that do this. but so far i haven't see any of the games i played on the console so far. feel kinda disappointed, i love xbox but this is unacceptable that they ask me to go online to play game.

even if you go offline.........looks like the game is corrupted.........but not in your console,but in microsoft online system........need to wait untill they fix it

I agree with the having to play online. But that is related to this issue, I have played it offline before without problems. Unless it's a game like the elder scrolls online, being forced to play while being online isn't acceptable. But as I said,I've played it while my internet was down so I'm sure it's related to this issue alone. This does suck....I want to relax and play.

same here man, i got upset that it wont let me play offline, i am hoping the files have been corrupted, if this is not the case then its ralle dissapointing from microsoft

it is a microsoft issue.....Cd projekt Red have nothing with it..............its probably a system crash on microsoft servers or some useless kid hacking again

the problem is why we can't play the older version that was not corrupted? assuming this is a pre patch error! the witcher is an offline game, its unaceptable this is happening and it seems to be on ms side!

Nice to know. Only wish 2 things now:
1). MS could get their s**t together
2). I had known this before uninstalling to attempt to fix by re-installing.

wanted to add that a friend is currently playing the game on digital copy. main reason he is been able to is because he is been playing offline for the past two days.

It's an offline single player game... this shouldn't be an issue. What the hell is going on?

-Edit: Wait nope, this single player game apparently isn't an offline game because if you disconnect Xbox Live then try, it will say you need to be connected to Xbox Live. Why in the hell does Witcher 3 need Xbox Live?

Im sure it's something with the new patch and/or the dlcs, you installed them right? this fucked something up now you are unable to star the game.
Still stupid...
