[Error] "Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined" on game launch (Resolved)

My workaround is to open the game with Gog galexy. It work everytime. Though the game is much buggy after the PL update.
For me, GOG Galaxy just needs to be open. If I try to launch the game with GOG closed, it crashes 100% of the time on start up. If I launch the game with Galaxy open, it works just fine, even if I launch the game directly from the .exe rather than from Galaxy.

i've seen quite a few people with this issue now.

the patch, (67690) > (67718), appears to replace GameServicesGOG.dll with a bad version.
deleting this file will allow the game to launch but disables any saves with Phantom Liberty content.

replacing with the previous (67690) version seems to be the only current fix that fully works.
hmm ... That might explain why for me Galaxy has to be running first, in order for the game to work. Probably needs a hotfix if that's the case.

Well my game crashes with the same error regardless if i have gog client running or not. I've tried both ways to launch the game directly from the exe file in bin folder or throught the launcher, but it makes no difference.
Also how can i choose to install/revert back to the previous (67690) build if i want to try that supposed workaround? Was 67690 the patch build for 2.0 before Phantom Liberty one?

Yes, that was the build when 2.0 released, before the release of Phantom Liberty. If you had downloaded the offline installer files at that time, and still have them, then you can uninstall the game and reinstall using that build. However, that build is no longer available for download, so if you don't have it you can't use that workaround.

Easy fix:

1. Go to folder <...>\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\publishing\x64
2. Create a copy of "GOG" folder
3. Rename original “GOG” folder to “null”
4. Goto path <...>\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 and rename the GameServicesGOG.dll file (ex GameServicesGOG.dll.tmp)

Tried that, but still getting the same crash. I'm just hoping now that 2.01 patch will fix the issue. Everything else i'm trying is pointless i feel like.

Going to clean reinstall the game for 2nd time, because i'm getting the same crash error even with the newest patch. Hope it works.

Ok i believe i fixed the crashes this time for real. All i did wrong was adding exclusion of the game folder and exe file in the wrong place in my Avira anti-virus program.
