Essential mods for any Witcher 1 playthrough?

Essential mods for any Witcher 1 playthrough?

I'm talking about anything that either fixs bugs, ups the graphics (textures/models), better sounds or even an eyefinity fix for cutscenes. I know there is a general mod list, but I am hoping for a more lean, "every playthrough" list. And if you have a couple of the most "must play" fan made adventures, I'll take those two. Mods that, perhaps, have their own music and voiceovers. That kind of thing. Thank you guys for taking the time to read this and help!

Links are kind of out-of-whack with the new forum switch. Hope you can find them.

Fixes:
-Have Han Plants give you Han, not Bebercane by Corylea
-Celina Wraith Fix
-There are other fixes but they're designed to be applied retroactively, only if you've had the bug (Ch. 2 Vizima Confidential Fix, Ch. 3 Locked Door Fix)

Tweaks:
-Stuff that Makes Geralt's Life Easier - Technically a bundle of 3 cheats (access storage from inventory, meditate anywhere, toggle cat vision without cat potion), but I just couldn't live without them.
-FlashMod/FCR optional tweaks - JUST THE OPTIONAL TWEAKS! Review them and apply to your own taste. I use visible wounds, no logo movies, TPP Camera, toggle UI and Walk in OTS mode, Werewolf Fur fix, larger stack size, 3 armor potion slots, and no flaming sword icon. Core balance and gameplay changes are too radical especially in FCR (for a first playthrough). However, for later playthroughs I do typically use the FlashMod core changes for the main campaign (NOT the fan/official adventures).
-No Cemetary Drowners Mod - enables you to banish Drowners in Ch. 5, who by that point pose no threat and give no XP, yet swarm all around and and pose a real nuisance by preventing you from entering caves

Cosmetic:
-Roxtar's Inferno/Black UI (I prefer Inferno) and Dark Witcher mods - big improvement to the UI color scheme, makes Geralt's leather darker and gives him golden eyes and more details. Also changes Shani and Triss's hair and dress colors (optional, not recommended for 1st playthrough).
-Roxtar's hi-res character models - technically just sharpened, still a major improvement
-Texturen Mod - sharpened textures for everything else in the game. I use selected folders from the mod (removing grass and Geralt's textures). Not necessary, just according to taste.
-There's a mod that removes the thunderous sound when transitioning areas. Never really bothered me until I got rid of the sound, now I prefer it without it.

The best fan adventures are (starting roughly with best, and the top 5 are my "must play"):
1.Medical Problems 1
2.Medical Problems 2: The Witcher Disease
3.The Crossroads
4.And a Curse, and Love, and Betrayal
5.Evil Decision
6.Wraiths of Quiet Hamlet
7.Entrapped
8.Merry Witchmas

None are voiced in English however many have original music, and they all have great writing and level design.

The two official adventures (Price of Neutrality, Side Effects) are worth a spin too.

In your case I would wait the release of the mega-mod "Rise of the White Wolf" that changing all textures of his characters to bring them TW2 or simply improve them, improved menus and HUD. It is a must have mod. Here I leave the link: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/25833-TW1-WIP-The-Rise-of-the-White-Wolf

Also you have the Full Combat Rebalance if you're not used to the original mechanical combat, but you may find it a bit shocking change. The mod of scabbard is also interesting for the swords are not naked in the back of Geralt.

The only tweak mod I use in TW1 is the walk mod (I don't remember where I downloaded it from though, you can try searching around).
