I have the same problem and I think aa is not working properly, everythink is flickering, expecialy shadows -.- does on patch works ok?
It's not even as icemount said, I opened a thread about the runes/glyphs bug with a manual fix using the console in-game: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/46591-Temporary-manual-fix-1-05-Crafting-Runestones-and-Glyphs?p=1763840#post1763840So is this intended or a bug?
Dear Marcin, please take care of AMD card's owners. We still can't play because of flickering and stuttering with crossfire :/ Without it a lot of people can't play..Yes. We always treat these with high priority.
AMD is responsible for their own drivers and CF support, not CDPR.Dear Marcin, please take care of AMD card's owners. We still can't play because of flickering and stuttering with crossfire :/ Without it a lot of people can't play..
YEah .. before 1.03 the LOD was great .. now everything is POPing IN shadows, texture, particles, decals, benches, NPCs, Roof tops, the vegetation on the buildings and many more.@Marcin Momot please guys let us increase the lod distance in the next patch, its so low right now, mesh/textures popping right in front of geralt![]()
Unfortunately no... AMD released they drivers for Witcher 3, but they didn't fix everything, now the ball is on the CDPR side... and they have to find a way to cooperate with AMD new drivers (15.5).AMD is responsible for their own drivers and CF support, not CDPR.
what about better performance on amd video cardsYes. We always treat these with high priority.
I agree. Is there any chance of a rolling list of fixes/enhancements that will be included in the next release? It would give people a nice warm feeling while waiting for the release announcement.
I'd like to know this as well. I've barely been able to get past the first village because of this.@Marcin Momot: Is the Tech support aware that a lot of people still cannot play more than 10 minutes without experiencing crashes (return to desktop while audio is still playing)? Is this being worked on?
EDIT: Most recent thread about this issue:
http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/43926-Random-crashes
Seriously this is so long overdue. There are 3 threads on the Claywich Barber on the front page of Tech Support right now. There are almost always multiple threads about alchemy or mutagen bugs in 1.05. Etc. Etc.Will you guys please sticky a thread in the main tech support forum with a list of bugs, and their status, that you guys are tracking? The tech support forums are a mess with people posting the same bugs over and over again with little to no acknowledgement from anyone Red. A thread that is maintained at least weekly would go a long way towards making these forums more useful for both CDPR and its customers.
I've found a way to fix this problem !I'd like to know this as well. I've barely been able to get past the first village because of this.
I appreciate the tip.I've found a way to fix this problem !
I've set the FPS limitation to 30 (also, I activated the v-sync) and I could play for more that 2 hours without a single crash.
Sure it's not as smooth as 60fps, but in return I can push the other graphics settings a little bit higher.
I hope this solves your problem too.
EDIT: Well, it seems I still have crashes when approaching cities like Oxenfurt though...
I'll try lowering my graphics settings.
Yes it did.Lod and popins havent changet from release, I tested all patches, it always were there.
