Fix the runestone/gylphs crafting bug. Can't craft any of them even when I have the ingredients needed.

For now it only works if you craft them from basic versions. The ones we find adventuring are not added as ingredients.

So is this intended or a bug?

It's not even as icemount said, I opened a thread about the runes/glyphs bug with a manual fix using the console in-game: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/threads/46591-Temporary-manual-fix-1-05-Crafting-Runestones-and-Glyphs?p=1763840#post1763840

Dear Marcin, please take care of AMD card's owners. We still can't play because of flickering and stuttering with crossfire :/ Without it a lot of people can't play..

AMD is responsible for their own drivers and CF support, not CDPR.

@Marcin Momot please guys let us increase the lod distance in the next patch, its so low right now, mesh/textures popping right in front of geralt :(

YEah .. before 1.03 the LOD was great .. now everything is POPing IN shadows, texture, particles, decals, benches, NPCs, Roof tops, the vegetation on the buildings and many more.

Unfortunately no... AMD released they drivers for Witcher 3, but they didn't fix everything, now the ball is on the CDPR side... and they have to find a way to cooperate with AMD new drivers (15.5).

Is there any chance of a rolling list of fixes/enhancements that will be included in the next release? It would give people a nice warm feeling while waiting for the release announcement.

I agree.

Marcin Momot, could you post patch 1.06 notes? At least part of it?

@Marcin Momot: Is the Tech support aware that a lot of people still cannot play more than 10 minutes without experiencing crashes (return to desktop while audio is still playing)? Is this being worked on?

EDIT: Most recent thread about this issue:

I'd like to know this as well. I've barely been able to get past the first village because of this.

Will 1.06 be compatible with previous save files?

Or there will chance corrupt quest lines or other data entries because conflicts due to the changes made in the fixes?

Will you guys please sticky a thread in the main tech support forum with a list of bugs, and their status, that you guys are tracking? The tech support forums are a mess with people posting the same bugs over and over again with little to no acknowledgement from anyone Red. A thread that is maintained at least weekly would go a long way towards making these forums more useful for both CDPR and its customers.

Seriously this is so long overdue. There are 3 threads on the Claywich Barber on the front page of Tech Support right now. There are almost always multiple threads about alchemy or mutagen bugs in 1.05. Etc. Etc.

Not having a CDPR owned and maintained thread to track bugs causes needless frustration for your customers and makes it harder for your team to get good feedback easily.

I've found a way to fix this problem !
I've set the FPS limitation to 30 (also, I activated the v-sync) and I could play for more that 2 hours without a single crash.
Sure it's not as smooth as 60fps, but in return I can push the other graphics settings a little bit higher.

I hope this solves your problem too.

EDIT: Well, it seems I still have crashes when approaching cities like Oxenfurt though...
I'll try lowering my graphics settings.

I appreciate the tip.

But honestly I paid $70 for this game and my rig meets recommended specs, I shouldn't have to spend my days tinkering around with this game just to have it kinda work. CD Project Red delayed this game to May because they didn't want to release a broken product. But low and behold it only seems to work on consistently on PS4. Which is interesting because that was the platform that they mailed out review copies for. Guess that time was spent on one platform.

It depends really. As not everyones configurations are the same. Mind you a single software service can interfere with other applications re: windows. This is not the same with consoles. PCs are inherently complicated thus my mantra, what works for you, might not work for me.

More optimizations are necessary though, right CDPR guys? By the way stop tinkering with the game's appearance already. Version 1.02 was gorgeous, then you downgraded it, yeah we saw what you did.

Yes it did.
Otherwise i wouldnt have noticed almost instantly the NPC popins and the grass draw distance in 1.04.
They made it better with 1.05 but now the game runs worse.

It looked better and ran better with 1.02 and 1.03.
