I believe Evelyn is alive. Here's why:

V goes to Cloud to look for Evelyn and talks to Tom Caldera who says what? He says that Evelyn was sent away for a new face plate. So we question Woodman and find out she's been sold off to Fingers.

Then, we arrive at Fingers place and if you force your way into his OR, then there is a female in his chair, with the same exact hair style as Evelyn's except red/pink, and what's Fingers giving her? He's giving her a new FACE PLATE!

Now, Evelyn supposedly dies, but the Evelyn in Judi's bathtub has black hair, not blue. And it's the exact same as Evelyn's.

I think Evelyn did not get sold.

I think Woodman moved Evelyn out and left a trail in the form of emails. Evelyn then switched her ID chip out with someone else's as well as put her face on the person, and then got a new face plate of her own from [her sibling] Fingers and skipped the light fantastic out of town. The person she put her chip into got sold and abused to the point that there memories could not be accessed, meaning we could not confirm that she was in fact Evelyn. Just because Judi was able to see bits and pieces of what they did to her doesn't mean it was Evelyn.

I'm 100% convinced that this is the truth. Otherwise why did Tom Caldera let slip Evelyn was sent to get a face plate, and then we find out no she didn't she was sold? So, Tom was repeating rumors and whispers that he had heard and he only caught the part where Evelyn was going to get a new face. So the people who told Tom this, forgot to mention that she was getting a new face because she was sold off to Fingers by Woodman? It just doesn't make sense.

No, Evelyn got away. Cyberpunk is all about clandestine operations, and Evelyn is the smoothest operator of all. She got one over on Arasaka, possibly cut Dex out of his share, and got out alive while Dex T-Bug, Jackie, and V all got killed!

She was attacked by the Voodoo boys which is why she had to escape. My theory is she barely survived and got lucky, and then realized it was time to get out of NC.

When you get to Fingers Judi is there and she says that "Tom Caldera never mentioned that Evelyn had gone missing" when he told her (Judi) that Evelyn could be found at Fingers!!! Proof that the trail is fake. So Tom told V Evelyn needed a new face plate, and he told Judi that Evelyn would be at Finger's clinic.

BAM! BOOM! BANG! It is solved! Evelyn is alive.

More seriously, you might missed it during the dialogue with the woman at the Cloud's entrance, but dolls can change their hairs and eyes color on the fly to adjust to client's preferences. Beside, you really believe that Judy wouldn't recognize her best friend and would take care of a "random" person for several days?

No, Evelyn doesn't have a face plate. And the doll ships do not store memories, they wipe memories after each session (that's the point).
And if you visit Evelyn booth in the Cloud (optional objective), you can see Evelyn being "fried" by the VDBs malware. So no, sadly, no matter how you look at it, Evelyn is gone.

Evelyn should have been a casual hookup option during Act 1. At least we got to flirt with her.

It doesn’t sound completely impossible to me. At the same time, I think the devs would have left clearer traces, like a note somewhere. And having her go through so much trouble without a quest would seem like a wasted opportunity to me. So I‘m a lot less optimistic about her fate.

The Face plates are secret military spy tech. Some random doll is not going to have access to it, or be able to afford it.

There's no way that she actually survived it and left her iconic katana. That would be worth a ton, enough to get out of the city at least. She also had the memories Wich were corrupted you don't get that in implantation you have to be damaged.

Don't lie I'm ticked that I can't actually romance her or anything either but with a katana man what a waste of a character.

Evelyn Parker is alive. She swapped someone out in her place and let that person be trafficked while she got away--in true spy fashion!
