Where did you read that?A review said that the perk/skill tree had effectively doubled in size from the last time we saw it. I wouldnt be too worried.

It would be an understatement to say that the selection has grown since the last reveal. The unlock screen is practically unrecognisable now. The 5 aforementioned main attributes now split off into 12 sub-specialisations. And each of these specialisations house a whopping 20 perks each (so 240 perks total). Obviously I didn’t have time to drool over every single one, so I scrolled down the list to jot down the most expensive ones. The crème de la chrome.
I think it was this... There are so many reviews now.
And there’s a lot of perks. For the Cool attribute, you’ve got a Stealth Page and a Cold Blood page. There’s 26 different Stealth perks and 19 Cool Blood perks to choose from, and most of those have multiple levels.
The same goes for other attributes. Technical Ability — or TECH — has Crafting (19 perks) and Engineering (22). Reflexes has separate branches for each of the main weapons: Blades (23), Rifles (20) and Handguns (19).
I was playing an assassin-type, so I focused on the Cool skills. All the choices there were pretty good: Improving critical chance by 15 percent; a global 15 percent/25 percent damage bump to human and mechanical enemies; 30 percent faster move speed while sneaking; unlocking aerial takedowns; unlocking the ability to throw knives; or just getting more movement speed generally after a takedown.
And that’s just the Stealth perk line. Want to be a better hacker instead? Then you can unlock the ability to breakdown turrets. Increase your Breach Protocol buffer. Get better hacking programs. Or maybe you just want faster aim time. Better headshot damage with handguns. Health regen during combat. Double the carrying capacity.
All of this is available with your very first perk point. You can’t have it all, of course. But you can work out pretty quickly the amount of possible permutations.

FIRST PERSON PERSPECTIVE
Cyberpunk 2077 will be mostly in first person perspective, with TPP in optionally while driving. For those concerned about seeing your customized V, you’ll also be able to see the player character in the inventory, in mirrors, very occasionally in cutscenes, and possibly in a planned photo mode. CDPR choose the first-person point of view for a few reasons. First, in the thick of action gameplay, it allows players to see things happening up close as the character, so that V can really interact with things in a visceral manner. Also, there were narrative-based considerations to make. The FPP camera helps to place the player into the interactive dialogue, the story and the environments that CDPR are creating. To really experience that verticality of Night City, you need a first-person perspective. Finally, the HUD is incorporated into the FPP so that V is seeing everything the player sees.
CDPR are aware that not everyone likes FPP. However they are firm in that decision. Having said that, they are very aware that there are a some people who can’t play first-person for a variety of reasons. CDPR is looking into offering difficulty options and sensibility options to hopefully manage to turn Cyberpunk 2077 in the first first-person game that some of those people will like, or that some will be able to play. For example, FOV will be adjustable for PC (no official word yet on consoles). There will also be options to disable bobble-head mode and motion blur on V's vision.
It seems my prayers have been answered by CDPR.
I was very concerned that CP2077 combat was your typical FPS but it seems that now your character starts out rather unskilled with a weapon but the more you use it the better you become.
Honest-to-god RPG mechanics!

Not going to be there, but get it on PC and I'd bet good money there will be a mod for it within a month or two.All thats nice but what about 3rd person
Multiple of the Hands on reviewers talk about it being accuracy and reload time related.Maybe "becoming more skilled" won't be equal being more accurate but just doing more damages, you know.

It was said several times last year and this year. Miles Tost was the first to discuss skills impacting weapon sway here on the forums I believe.Reload time I've heard too, yes, but accuracy haven't heard about it.

I think weapon sway is involved in accuracy. But they also talked about hit spread for accuracy this year.Accuracy = Ability to hit what's under your crossair.
That's because weapons sway isn't exactly accuracy to me.

Guess I missed that, I was under the impression it was straight shooter mechanics. This has been known since E3 2018.
Considering it has been mentioned in seven years, I think it's safe to say it's not a thing.I wonder if the option to print out your character stats from the game, have a character sheet, to use in the Pen and Paper game is still up or was scrapped.
