I was told by a very well trusted Gamestop employee that when you pre-purchased the expansions & put in the 25 character code on the Xbox One, it is forever linked to your account. No matter if you uninstall, Had to exchange consoles, or whatever reason. It knows you put in the code.
I got the expansion pass with the preorder bundle in the xbox store. But I cant find it on my harddrive. I just hope its recognized when I go to download HOS
If you bought it that way, then it is linked to your account. You will not see the expansions on your HD yet, because they have not been released. HoS is supposed to be released tomorrow. That is when you should see that your console will tell you that 1) It was automatically downloaded or 2) Ask you if you want to download.
I am kinda iffy on the TW3 game screen in patch 1.10 showing coming soon for each expansion listed. The reason I'm iffy about it is: Will the one for HoS have the words "Ready to Download" for the people that already paid for it, or if it's clickable, will it ask us to pay for it. This is the first time I have ever seen anything like that on any game's title screen, so IDK about that. I am just throwing that out there because it has been on the brain since the first time I saw it.
I mean I cant find the expansion pass itself, I'm not looking for the expansions to be there alread. All other Season passes I have downloaded have been attached to their related game when I go to "manage game". In reply to the second part of your message I read that you will be able to play the expansions from the main menu and it will generate a level 30 geralt for you to play with. So that is probably why the selections are there.
Now I am understanding what you are meaning about finding the location of HoS. Okay, I just did a bing search on the console and just typed in Hearts of Stone and it found it (Since I am a Xbox One preview member, I have a different setup than the factory consoles. It is supposed to be the way it will look in November, and my HoS that I had pinned to the home screen was a broken link), anyway, after finding it, I clicked on manage game for HoS and it told me that I needed to Download it but was blank on the rest of the screen. So I'm thinking that when I click on that again(when they release it), it should show me a clickable Install box.
But now that is just my best guess.
Hey we are preview member buddies haha I assume you joined the new UI program also. I did see an issue in the "known Issues" section about Season passes so maybe that is it.
Oh crap, Really? I hope it's not saying that they can't guarantee that a purchased season patch will work. I will be demanding Microsoft for some kind of compensation. I know they would say that I agreed to the terms so "You're SOL"
