While he is at it. He probably gets amnesia again too! That way - they can make you start out at level 0 in the expansion and get to know the characters all over again. They'll just keep making Geralt lose his memory again over and over again every couple DLC. It's all an evil conspiracry by CD Projekt RED to make more Witcher trilogies.

The city on the second picture seems like Gors Velen to me, judging by its position on the map and the land around the city looks war-ravaged to me. But that's just my observation of the Launch trailer.

Possibly. Perhaps he'll wind up thinking he's a common farmer's son, summoned by Destiny to slay a dragon, save the princess, redecorate the palace, and then micromanage the kingdom. There's a cringe-worthy series of events!

tbh I don't see any indication that it's war ravaged. The city itself looks perfectly fine and the grass around the city looks also as expected considering it's probably winter, as there is some snow..

Doubt it's the White Frost since Ciri destroyed it unless the DLC is before the last battle. It's probably winter and Geralt got captured tied up, managed to loosen himself and found a sword.

Alternatively, if you prefer not to follow the main story line: Geralt manages to loosen himself, gets captured, finds a sword, gets tied up, and then it's winter.

Someone from CDPR did mention some surprising plot twists so I'm guessing Triss and Shani have a girl fight on the streets of Oxenfurt which leads to Geralt intervening and that's how he probably got captured. Then you switch to Ciri and find him and free him then switch back to Geralt and I dunno what happens next lol.

Or maybe Geralt managed to loosen himself, got captured, found a sword, got tied, up, and then ate the wrong combination of herbs and strong alcohol and farted out a Northern Wind!

Think about it a huge crowd and Triss vs Shani both pissed off, Triss knows she can't use magic because the crowd would turn her in and killing Shani would upset Geralt. So a straight cat fight, Hair pulling, tearing clothes, punching and kicking, strangling and Geralt trying to separate them then some guards walk in and think Geralt is abusing both of them and lock him up. Surprising plot twist am I right?

I suspect -- and my suspicions are usually wrong, so no worries there -- that Hearts of Stone will somehow involve fisstech, more of the criminal underworld's complex businesses, the Plague, educational reform, a curse, a gargoyle, a vineyard, some mines, and a haunted village.

Hm probably but I would love to see Triss vs Shani that would be so cheesy yet brutal.

I agree Blood and Wine image is almost certainly Beauclair. Beautiful valley with mountains in the background. They have already said it takes place in Toussaint. It's the only logical conclusion. And the "blood" portion would make sense with a Burxa contract. I'm having a little difficulty seeing the main plot-line justification for going to Beauclair. Maybe to recruit allies for the Battle of Kaer Morhen?

In regards to Hearts of Stone. I would be grasping at straws to make a guess. Could be any number of people who would want Geralt restrained (voluntarily or otherwise). Or Shani is just like that? It does look like a tattoo to me. Geralt never learns about the consequences of excessive drinking it seems. We'll have to wait until more information is available.

Probably has a drinking bout with the wrong sorcerers, and wakes up with a blue flashing rune on his face.

Or he got into a fight and someone embroided a runestone which adds 5% chance of freezing on his face.

If the image from Blood and wine is in fact from a night to remember and it certainly looks like it is then the area looks quite large with huge surrounding areas. I'm really excited for more Witcher content. It would be nice if they reLeased more expansions next year but every indication seems to be that there will only be 2 :(

If The Night to Remember trailer is connected to Blood and Wine, I wonder how would they tie the expansion to it. As events after the trailer, or before?
