Exploring is kinda pointless

I don't know what you're talking about, Fallout New Vegas is a great game with no mods
good AI, actual choices and consequences, great story, great characters, great atmosphere, great faction system etc etc. A 2010 game.
In fact fallout new vegas its not a bethesda game, i have talked only about fallout 3-4 and skyrim that are beth game, New Vegas is a case apart hench i didnt included it in the fallout game, even if it have the fallout name, its not a fallout game, i hope you understand.
with the recent microsoft aquisition of beth i didnt see the time, to see a new vegas 2 that will be an event

If you loose youself aroud there are a lot to explore, but nothing compared to Fallout new vegas or Fallout 4 (and no, skyrim is not this open as most peolpe think, when you enter in an unmarked cave most time you find a very little cave, some shitty treasure and some more shitty monster) fallout (3 [in some way] 4 e new vegas) in other end is much more open, thanks also to mods thanks to project like The N.V. Interiors Project or The Beantown Interiors Project, if you remove this project fallout, skyrim (edit: i forgot also to say that skyrim lives also for the big boobs, skimpy armor and souless female companion with big tits, big ass ans skimpy dress [except some rare case]) is as empty as CP 2077, so in the end fallout and skyrim live today because of the modder, so probably if possible to open up the doors and fill them of content, if the modders have the right instruments.

I think it was for me the limited places to go. The landfill is cool. but because of the collision issues and lack of any flying in the game. I just don't want to bother to look. And with most doors locked. I stopped looking around for things that did work. I rather the game have a visual door that you know is always locked. Than the doors that can be opened.

Haven't done exploring much, as it just shows you how much too early game was released..

I was hoping to play this game for years to come. Much like the oft mentioned skyrim or witcher 3. Played through CP and all side missions, most gigs and random crap. After that, there is just nothing.

I don't expect that CDPR games will have the modding support to go the same distance. They are heavily dependent upon studio attention for additional content, and that only lasts for a little while.

Meanwhile, that modding support holds up the TES and FO games long after the studio has moved on.

Always wondered what that object is, really. Can't figure it out, much less how they got it on top of that hill, even more much less why on top of that hill.

My best guess is that it is an old, unused cargo vehicle for getting stuff up to the space stations.

I agree that Cyberpunk provides no intention for exploring, but the Witcher was pretty much the same. The world is beautiful decoration in CDPR games.

Bethesda and Larian have done much better job here. Skyrim has shallow quests but the world itself is awesome place for exploring, and Divinity OS2 and BG3 are even better, good and memorable quests + interesting and surprising world.

you can speak as much as you want but the base skyrim game is pretty shitty, the first thing every skyrim player do just after installing skyrim is modding

As one of many players who's first experience of Skyrim was on console, I disagree. I also disagree that it is only the addition of mods that makes Bethesda's games worthwhile as, up until recently, consoles didn't get any access to mods. It goes without saying that the right mods will improve the game, but that would be true of any game if modding were allowed due to modders being able to focus on whatever they like without any constraints faced by a hired programmer.

There're a lot of canals in the city. If you go swimming, you get a warning "Turn back" I was like wtf? Im still in the city.
Why is there even perk "Commando"?
AND a clothing mod to increase time under water AND o2 consumable to increase time under water.

A bit cryptic, but I interpreted as to find the hidden places/items CP77' has to offer.
And btw, this works best without a guide because then it won't feel like checking of another list of TODOs.

Cyberpunk was the first time where I thought maybe CDPR should ditch open world. It's mostly pointless and the city feels like a backdrop, not a place with secrets or cool areas to discover. I disagree that it's just like TW3. Turning off map markers and exploring in that game was rewarding. No it's not like Skyrim or Red Dead, but CDPR had a different focus for TW3 as it's primarily narrative driven, not a sandbox style experience that allows you to do anything. I still feel the city was primarily designed with multiplayer in mind, or the devs weren't given enough time to make gameplay gel with exploration as so many elements feel half assed.

yeah i wrongly mentioned New Vegas, my error, maybe

Because you have know only recently the modding, without modding Skyrim, fallout 3 and 4 will not have survived all this year, they were long dead, trust me without mods i will never have reached 2000 hour on skyrim, you have access to all mods?

You're making assumptions. While my first experience was on console, I have owned said games on PC for some time as well and I am very familiar with what mods are available. Again, those games did very well on consoles and, with the exception of FO4 which does have mods on console, those games are now considered so old that the fact they are still cited and held in high regards speaks volumes.

they are still cited, because of the mods (new vegas excluded) and in case of fallout 3 was the first "open world" in third person perpesctive post apocalyptic game (as i remember), and yes they are classics, i have played them all, to be sincere i have even played fallout 1 and 2 and i have played almost all elder scrolls game, i am a core beth fan, but mods helped, a lot

There is no choice that matters, the background of your character doesn't matter, (aside from maybe the 5 minutes it takes to play through the beginning missions) and with the lack of interactions in the world and the non existant ai, I found no reason to continue to play it.

I have just reinstalled skyrim and a whole pile of mods. Despite it being almost a decade old, I can guarantee I will get far more enjoyment, and for a much longer period, than what I got from this on rails looter-shooter.
Funny. I did that, too.

Hidden places are just a dead body with a bit of loot, kinda meh. Shouldn't they have maybe led to further stories and missions, as it stands that happens exactly once: the third free motorbike.

Aside from secret stories and missions like that what I would have liked would have been recordings/maps of the world explaining how Cyberpunk 2020 diverged from our own, the original RPG contained plenty of information about this they could have adapted, and maybe even new information from Pondsmith about what happened at the end of the 4th Corporate War - because the RPG stopped publication in 1997 before that was resolved or any subsequent material came out. And not shards of text but actual recordings, either audio or video.
