You have both mesh and its buffer, delete all the mesh files and buffer files and reuncook to same folder structure, wcc will generate the extractable meshes then.
 
ok? Why would uncooking this time with the same program produce a different result?

First uncooking just unpacks meshes to .w2mesh and the 1.buffer files.

When deleted next the wcc uncooks, sort of merges the mesh and buffer.

You can see that when both are present the mesh files is really small.

When only one is present the mesh is larger.
 
ok, so it is working now, slightly mistyped the command. apparently using modkitchen or w3oven, you must add a \ after the file path when you pick from the file explorer. I do not know why this is not automatic, but it finally worked with double uncook and adding the \. Thank you guys for the help, this has been frusterating me for a while. Thanks!
