There will be a relief with the Enhanced Edition regarding the inventory but not for the size... remember Geralt is a gifted swordsman not a mule ;)

I like the Idea about Geralt at a younger age and going through the mutation phases. Perhaps also other charactors in the main story, perhaps other witchers, or adding other classes. I know this would place it into the realm of war craft but if structured right it would stand on it's own.Love to hear other ideas too

Interesting approach, if you have the right person at hand. Otherwise it could lead to trouble fairly quickly. And I imagine it's a lot tougher to coordinate keyboard and mouse actions that way than with one person controlling both. But I suppose you're experienced at teamwork :)

Я бы хотела, чтобы в игре можно было купить лошадь и ездить на ней. Как, например, в TES IV:Oblivion :peace:

There are no horses in the Witcher with the acception of the last cutscene but you can't use a horse in the game. It's not necessary cos Geralt is always in a good shape.

Yeah but it would still be good if you could ride Roach around and by reading her body language that there were monsters around. :D

Well, personnaly I'd like a extension showing the "old" Kear Morhan, before the attack by the peasants and wizards (if I remember correctly). The whole thing would probaly work out the best if one play good, not so old Vesemir coming home to Kaer Morhan and staying in the vicinity. After a while (a chapter, maybe) of sticking around Kaer Morhan is destroyed and looks as we know it now.And as Vesemir is the only survivor, one could add a little "Hunt down the attackers" quest at the end.I think it's a decent idea *shrugs*.

yeah I'd like to see some sort of ranged weapon -- maybe not a bow, but a thrown axe or dagger.

I agree -- I'd love to see that. I'd like to know more about either Kaer Morhen's past or Vesemir's, and your idea has both.I'd also like to see a third version of the mouse control. You can either have a tiny Geralt or a small Geralt if you play with the mouse. If you use WASD, you can have a much larger Geralt, but I find the mouse a heck of a lot easier to use. I'd like to be able to use the mouse AND have a big Geralt.

Dunno if this has already been said, but please don't give Geralt the ability to climb, jump, slide, do any kind of athletics or gymnastics. After all it's The Witcher is a rpg not Prince of Persia and that's why I bought it. If you really feel like doing it, then my suggestion is to implement it to the combat-system. I could see a reason in expanding the fights 'cos they make up an important part of the game. In fact I think it would be rather cool to be able to tactically use your enviroment while fighting (attack from higher ground, corner your opponent,...). The enemies should be able to do this, too, of course. But jumping, swimming... nah. Movement isn't that much essential to a rpg, unless you want to make the sequel(s) an action-rpg, wich I really would find sad. The Witcher is good the way it is in terms of movement and freedom. I played Oblivion and got lost within the world in which you can go in every direction, do whatever you want to, but have no clear focus on what matters. The Witcher is story-based and that is clearly an advantage as the plot is good, driving and keeps you focused. Geralt can't climb over fences and walls, so what? As long as it isn't neccessary to the plot you don't have to do it - you don't need it , actually. If you really want to keep the status quo or even improve it, make interesting plots for "mature minds". Design more different models, expand the conflicts between the NPCs and stuff like that. I'd like to see more content and atmosphere (I like the one of the game, but different regions should have different "tones" to them). By no means, please raise the sexual contents - it's a rpg and no fantasy porn movie. Geralt is a monster hunter, this should be the core of the game, he's not Reinhold Messner and doesn't participate in the Temerian Olympics. Also I think it wouldn't do harm to expand the Signs and Talents...Those are my thoughts... Dunno if this is the right place to post them.

Does that mean you don't like the Zelda type RPG? lol, personally I wouldn't mind seeing the very limited jump or climb that is somewhat similar to the Zelda games, just stuff where you can jump off ledges instead of having walk right around until you get to the stair entrances, or maybe a few places to jump a ledge or two. I do agree though nothing over the top. Like said the Witcher is story based and that is why it is such a good game. It has meaning and story the things most games these days are missing. ;D

And yes this is the perfect spot to place your ideas.... To some exception of course. ;)
