Eyck of Denelse interaction with Hurbert not working ??

I played Eyck on a 9point ghoul using his order effect, (i.e. he stayed on the board for one turn before I used him) and then immediately played Hurbert on the ranged row as my card for that round. Hurbert did NOT boost by the 9 as expected !!! Is this a bug, or did I do something wrong ?

Its not a bug - what Eyck does isnt considered damage but a destruction. Stuff like Geralt, Geralt Professional, Geralt Igni, Scorch, Leo Bonhart, they dont do damage, they destroy.

For Hubbert you can use Ada's ability, Ocvist, S. Blaze, spears, Iris deathwish... all those do damage.

Ahhh...I came to that conclusion last night, but thanks for the confirmation. I will need to respec my Adda deck as I have a Gerald in there as well that I thought might be a finisher too.
