Fake Papers quest and regenerating enemies

Hi,

I'm trying to do this quest but when I go to see the man's brother-in-law there are two enemies that I can't kill.

I'm only level three and they're level nine, but I don't have much trouble getting their health down. The problem is that once I get their health down about half-way it starts regenerating faster than I can knock it down.

I can't find anything either online or in the game world to help me know what special tincture or oil or whatever-the-hell I need to stop this from happening, so could someone please offer me some advice?

Thanks

On death march you even shouldn't try this quest before lvl 9-10. The enemies just 1 shot every npc except the named questgiver (3 shot).

So you're just too low lvl wise. I never had to use anything to stop ghoul regeneration because it's rather low. The problem with that quest(at higher difficulties) is more to keep the npcs alive.

The first time I did that quest was with ~ lvl 4 right after getting into that area. I couldn't save the named npc so I just skipped it until later but I had no problem killing all the ghouls(and that one rotfiend) just with melee attacks..(death march) ;>

In the end just load a save before you get near to that area(if you got too close the quest will fail after some time, because the npcs will start fighting the spawned enemies and die) and come back later.

Thanks very much for the advice. I'm playing on Death March so I'm keenly aware that sometimes I'll need to wait until I'm more powerful to deal with quests, but I just assumed that since I managed to take down the ghoul's health quite a bit the disparity in levels wouldn't matter so much (I've taken on Level 7 enemies before), and that the regenerating health was something that I needed to deal with via some sort of special item. In any case, I'll come back later once I've got more experience, and try and avoid triggering the fight as I navigate the area.

That Werewolf quest was kicking my arse for awhile; it was regenerating so fast that if I popped back to take a Swallow it was regenerating faster than I was, so I couldn't let up attacking it or it would regenerate its health completely. Ultimately I had to do everything I could to improve my damage output, throw up my shield and simply plough into it until it died ... took me several attempts before I managed to succeed.
