Ironic considering how much against female protagonists Ubisoft seemed to be.

I dont understand this statement. They may have been in the past (actually I think they were just conservative), but it has changed in Odyssey and Valhalla. In Syndicate you couldn't play female only, but there was Evie already. I think it was a test.

Now its the opposite, and the reason I care much more about AC games is how they make the different genders more or less equal. Kassandra is the canon protagonist (appeared in the novel).

ps. Ive edited my original post

Sadie Adler is character I had strong hopes in that Rockstar had a plan to develop a DLC specifically carrying on with her story in Mexico. That seems like it'll never be. Regardless, I admired the fire and ruthfulness she showed in the game. She certainly could've been a playable character, but, eh, TakeTwo favors online more than story dlc.

Yeah, unfortunately Rockstar have been REALLLLLY SLOOOOOOW when it comes to adding a female protagonist in a game. They will finally do it in GTA6, but that game is still who knows how far away. And it will be dual protagonist the same way AC: Syndicate was.

Meanwhile Ubisoft release Syndicate in 2015 and they allowed for sole female lead in Odyssey and Valhalla which led to their biggest sales ever. (Ubisofts current troubles stem from releasing basically nothing good since Valhalla..)

Ubisoft knows where its at. Their next game is a Star Wars open world RPG, with ONLY a female protagonist.

Honestly, this trailer made me really hyped, even if I know its a custom-made trailer and doesn't show gameplay video. The idea of an open world star wars game in the same vein as Assassins creeds? UUUUUUUH. Its soooooooo far away though.

ps. I think that man shown in 2:04 is Talon Karrde.

I'll definitly watch Ubisoft Forward today. Don't care about AC Mirage, I just want to see gameplay of Star Wars Outlaw (maybe also a bit of Avatar^^).

I think they shot themselves in the foot not having a male/female character option this time around, it was the most interesting thing in their last two AC games.

A SW open world game without lightsabers... interesting.

I missed much of the live broadcast due to live D&D session, but... It all looks so good and promising!

How come a game like this was never made back in LucasArts times?!?!?

The only thing that could beat it would be a Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor kind of game with a female Jedi protagonist...

Not a fan of the main character's design though. I find it too generic, would have been more interesting if she was Mandalorian or Twi'lek.

There are a few. Though one stands out because she doesn’t have her own game. It’s actually disappointing, we can play a full game with her. She is Orphea from Heroes of the Storm.

I know she’s doom and gloom, but I thought she’d fit in well with Witcher’s doom and gloom.

Other than that.

Jill Valentine RE

2B NieR

And of course Yennifer and Ciri

Aloy from HZD and HFW. I rather like the more ruthless Aloy from Forbidden West, btw.

Yennefer, Ciri, Triss, Ves and Cerys from The Witcher 3 (Ves and Triss also from TW2).

Handmaiden, Visas and Mira from KOTOR 2.

Cassandra from AC Odyssey (the one good thing to ever come from post-Ezio Assassin's Creed).

Also going with Kassandra from AC Odyssey.
But Jane Shepard from Mass Effect and Aloy from HZD are close.
Special Award for "would be awesome but I won't touch that game" goes to Karlach from Baldur's Gate 3.
Best Female Supporting Char is Judy of course. ❤️
