Merrin from Jedi Fallen Order and Survivor.

triss - tw2/tw3 (never played tw1). funny, kind and nice person. cdpr did a great job here.
regina jones - cyberpunk. don't know her story outside the game, but she's probably the only (mostly) good person in the whole night city.
freya - god of war. for unknown reason i'm in awe of any character named freya.
claire redfield - re2remake. there is no much about her character, but i like her oddly attractive face.
i liked aloy from horizon zero dawn, but they spoiled her in tfw and hzd remaster.

Anyone who's Team Triss gotta act like they didn't read the books...
why? i can like triss or even regis. i'm not in the lore, it doesn't affect anything. we are talking about players' favorite characters, right?

Ellie from The Last of Us. I did not like how they wrote her for the plot of Last of Us 2. Made her a psycho. But Last of Us 1 the original she was an awesome character.

Samara from ME2
Ves from TW2
Ashley Williams from ME1
Triss from TW2

If you don't understand why Triss is a great character, you don't get the books or the games. Pleb.

I have such a giant list of women I love in video games!!!!

Ciri, Yennefer and Saskia are my Witcher girl faves.

From other video games, probably Morrigan and Wynne from DAO, Meredith from DA2, Cassandra from DAI and Neve from Veilguard. Emily Kaldwin and Billie Lurk from Dishonored, Aloy from HZD and Jack and Femshep from Mass Effect. In Baldur's Gate 3 it's probably easier to list the women I don't like in that game. Karlach/Shadowheart/Lae'zel/Minthara are all fucking awesome in their own ways, Larian also did a fab job with Jaheira, and then there's the two moon lesbians and then there's Orin, who was a great and super creepy villain.

Pretty sure in that context Team Triss means those who favor her romance over Yennefer's, who is established as Geralt's true love in the books. Then again, this is the game and you can choose whoever you want (and there's definitely nothing wrong with being Team Triss, she's awesome).

Agreed about Aloy, she was a very enjoyable character in the first game but they turned her into an unlikable, almost unintelligent psycho bitch in the second, which she never was before. Also agreed about Freya, easily the best character in the Norse GOW games.

I liked Triss a lot in TW3 too ngl, despite her romance scene wasn't as wholesome

Lara Croft, since Tomb Raider (II more specifically) was one of the first games i've ever played.

Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield and Ada Wong, from Resident Evil series. I'm a huge fan of the series, and was never able to figure out which of the 3 is my favourite, when i think its one, i play a game with one of the others and go back to the starting point...

FemShepard from Mass Effect trilogy. I know she's not a proper character, since she's based on the player's choices, but the voice actress did such an amazing job that i really loved the character i "helped" in creating.

Finally, a mention to Ciri, Yen and Triss. They could've been higher, but Ciri and Yen only appear in TW3, and i wasnt able to play TW2 to see Triss in all of her glorious moments.
I'm a huge Resident evil fan as well. My fiancee could pass as a short Claire Redfield while I used to look like Leon Kennedy.

Maya and Lilith from Borderlands one and two. Those two sirens I liked their looks and attitude. I mean with Lilith she was a dungeon master and a syfy lover. Maya was a tough punk girl.

Just started Nier Automata, 2B and A2 are definitely in the podium of best female characters in games.

Alt and Rogue from Cyberpunk, kinda wish the game was set in the times when they were young so we could romance them.

Also fem V, she's gotta be one of the single most badass female characters in gaming history. Add points if she goes with the default red sidecut appearance.
