Feature Requests for the NEXT patch 2.4, 2.5, 2.6 etc

+
Please do not add New Game + (I just learned about this NG+ acronym tbh), it's too funny to see people squirm about not having it.

I hope future updates are released with Switch 2 updates at the same time, so Switch 2 fans don't have to wait longer for the updates to drop.
Post automatically merged:

I want more character face customization options, like adding new asset types like Aurore hair style, face, nose, eyes types, more cyberware customization options. More hairstyles, please.

I want to look like NPCs with that mask impersonation cyberware that was installed to look like the Cassel twins.

Give us the ability to sit and eat food at stores. Interact with NPCs, have interactions where gang members go up to you while you are eating.

Add more in-game assets to desolate areas to make it seem more lively. There are parts in Night City that feel underdeveloped, like the devs didn't have time to put stuff in, and it breaks the immersion, like adding the incomplete area in the Megabuilding.

I want a DREDD, like sidequest where you are taking out gangs in a megabuilding that is closed.

I want casinos and gambling in Night City. No option to gamble in this game except for story plot reasons.
Even Pokemon Red got me hooked on slots, I want that and some Pachinko games in Night City.

I want an app in game where your bounty will go up and everyone in Night City will go after you like in John Wick. or you can find NPCs with high bounties and take them out. Some type of radiant quests where you can hunt down NPCs and get credits or cybershards or something.

More secret websites, links in computer, etc.

I already finished the game. Maybe an option to Clean Night City?

More different varieties of ads and commercials, feels like I watched them all.

As a long-time player and fan of Cyberpunk 2077, I wanted to respectfully submit a few feature ideas and quality-of-life improvements for consideration in a future patch. These aren’t just wishlist items—they're enhancements that would expand immersion, narrative depth, and player connection to Night City. Many of these already exist in the modding community, proving that they are both technically feasible and well-received.

1. Full Native Modding Tools

  • Providing full modding support would unlock a new era of community creativity.
  • Mods are keeping the game alive and thriving—official support (like Creation Kit for Bethesda titles) would empower creators while maintaining stability.

2. New Game Plus (NG+) – Official Implementation

  • There’s already an excellent NG+ mod that works seamlessly. (so im sure you guys could implement THAT into the game)
  • Official NG+ would provide a reason to replay with all perks, cyberware, and character progression intact, greatly enhancing replay value.

3. Third-Person Camera Mode (Immersive Only)

  • A non-combat third-person view for walking and exploration would allow players to:
    • Fully appreciate their character's appearance and style.
    • Experience Night City from a new and immersive angle, beyond photo mode or vehicles.

❤️ 4. Expanded Romance Partner Interactions

  • The "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" quest is a great concept—why not take it further?
    • Let romance partners move in, visit regularly, or even call to say they're coming over.
    • Enable small talk, drives around the city, or impromptu hangouts like Johnny’s sequences.
  • Romance characters deserve more screen time and connection with V, especially in a world that thrives on human interaction.

5. More Hangouts Beyond the Apartment

  • We can spend time with Johnny and other NPCs—why not romance partners?
    • Sitting at bars, going to the Afterlife together, hanging at the Aldecaldo camp, or even joining for side gigs.
    • Just seeing them outside the scripted moments would go a long way in making them feel real.

6. Full Visual Cyberware Customization – Let V Look Like the World You Built

We see it everywhere—in Cyberpunk 2077’s official promotional art, trailers, merchandise, comics, and across Night City itself:

  • Faceplates, chrome jaws, visible cyberarms, optical rigs, full chrome skin, neural plugs, external power cables—it’s all there.
  • NPCs flaunt incredible cyberware aesthetics—Rogue, Oda, Sandayu, random fixers, gangoons, and even civilians.
  • But V? We barely get access to any of it, despite being the most modded merc in Night City.

That visual identity is core to the Cyberpunk look—and it’s frustrating that we can’t be what the world advertises.

Request: Let us fully customize V with all of the visual cyberware styles seen across the franchise:

  • Add these options to the character creator and Ripperdoc system.
  • Make them cosmetic—no gameplay change needed, just visuals.
  • Give us full-body cyberware variants, skin plating styles, and optic mod selections that reflect the Night City aesthetic.

This is a game about identity, expression, and being cyberpunk. Let us live it—visually.

🧠 Final Thought

Many of these features are already proven by mods and deeply appreciated by the community. While mods are powerful, having these natively implemented would offer a stable and consistent experience for all players—especially those on consoles.

Cyberpunk 2077 has evolved beautifully. Let’s make it even better.

Sincerely,
A dedicated player
I only agree with number 6 and add on top of that extra clothing and hairstyles. The rest don't seem that appealing or something they should spend or waste their resources on. I mean you have mods to enjoy those specific niches

Third-Person Camera Mode (Immersive Only)
This can't be done though, and this franchise has already been established as a FPP series of video games (with orion's job listings hinting at FPP gameplay again) to add TPP they would have to rework player animation and rework the majority of the game's assets. For example the height of certain meshes has to be changed, they also need to be retextured and that is simply not possible with this game, so late after release.

Full Visual Cyberware Customization – Let V Look Like the World You Built
Yes please!

Full Native Modding Tools

A REDkit like TW2 & 3's would be really good! (TW3 got it's REDkit 9 years after release, let's hope it doesn't take cyberpunk's that long)

Honestly all I really want is more romance interactions like I feel like Judy seems to be more fleshed out then Panam idk if I’m going crazy but I would just like more fleshed out interactions and stuff for all the romance options

For mixed input users instead of having to deal with button prompts constantly switching between keyboard or gamepad let them choose to lock the button prompt to gamepad or keyboard.

It was available in Witcher 3 by doing the following
  1. Open <path-to-game>\bin\config\base\hidden.ini.
  2. Change LockControlScheme=0 to LockControlScheme=2.
  3. Save the file.
So it would be great to have an old feature that was in WItcher 3 also in CP2077.

This has been something users have been asking for couple years now.

For now there's been some mod attempts like hiding keyboard prompts and mouse cursor altogether, but something official that doesn't rely on completely hiding the button prompts would be ideal.

Pls add,
New game+ Or replayable missions just like in GTA v story mode ,more character cyber limbs/ plates, third person pov, more cosmetics/ npc's outfits...

I was playing on ps5 as the game came out on playstation plus so I ended up giving it a try and loved it.....up until I discovered the attribute check scaling system about 25-30 hours in. I will be honest, I was thoroughly deflated from playing the game that I ended up spending 3 hours trying to find ways to get around the checks without having to level....to which there were none. Unfortunately, the way I play games which is to level up and get as many options open by doing side quests feels like it get punished as a result. Which to newer players going into the mid game it will be a rough time on the role playing side. Until you reach end game builds by reaching max level most skill checks will be locked out (which isn't really fun imo).

My suggestion, if getting rid of the scaling algorithm for attribute checks is for whatever reason not possible (honestly I would prefer static values which change depending on the region I'm in or the difficulty of the people I'm to in accordance to the mission), is to give the player cyberware like the Gorilla arms that add the body attribute values to the skill check (I know it works for doors but I heard it may not work during speech checks but it honestly should). So for example there could be a head cyberware that adds +1 to +6 Int depending on the tier (considering it is helping with your hacking abilities I don't see why your Int checks wouldn't go up with certain pieces of cyberware). I would say nervous system for reflexes, circulatory system for cool, and hands for technical.

The main purpose of this is to give the player a way to get through skill checks they find difficult but want to do while keeping the player locked out of perks they could have gotten if they invested in the attribute. Keeps build variety going and helps players experience the game the way they want to. I would keep the cyberware only at certain ripperdocs and at the prices usually seen for the gorilla arms. Still need to get upgrade materials to level up the attribute gains anyway.

This isn't my only request, but I wanted to get the Photo Mode one right out there...

We could always do with more NPCs in Photo Mode.
The game has a vast cast of characters and I didn't expect some of the newer options, I'm glad we got characters like Brendan, Misty and Rita. If it means we can expect more friends, foes and familiars as NPCs packaged with whatever 2.4, 2.5 or onwards might have in store, please add them. Some I can think of at the moment I'd like to see are:
  • Mama Welles ( Perfect for a photo with Jackie and Misty :giggle:)
  • Coach Fred
  • Kirk Sawyer, the guy from Streetkid route
  • The Zen Master
  • El Cesar, the Glen Champion
  • Micaela, the pregnant spouse from El Cesar's fight
  • Razor Hugh
  • Rhino, the Rancho Coronado Champion
  • Fingers
So many to list, but maybe someone else can name a few more.

I'd like photo mode to include the possibility of customizing V's (and Johnny's) head orientation and facial expression in vehicles

I want the ability to pet the cat in the apartment.
I want your romance partner to interact and pet the cat and lizard.
I want the TV to play in the background in your apartment.
I want more different ads. I'm getting bored seeing the same ads over and over again.
I want more character customization options. More different hairstyles, noses, eyes, etc.
I want the behavioural imprint-synced faceplate to change your face to other NPC characters in photomode.

its true man please add new game + in new patch

If they don't want our character to be totally naked in game (For whatever reason), fine. But at least give us underwear options.

Yeah, I never got that at all. In character menu when I sleep with Judy my V is completely naked, no underwear. When I go to the mirror my V is wearing underwear, I mean, where is that coming from?

We NEED more accessibility support on Console. Most notably, an FOV slider. It is known to not cause performance issues, and if it did, that’s our choice.

Many players suffer from headaches, and eye-strain due to the perspective. It is a massive oversight. And extremely important for those of us who need accessibility options like the FOV slider specifically!

I personally, am struggling to play the game, even while taking constant long breaks. And I know others who simply avoided the game for this exact reason. It’s really disappointing.

No “Reset Attributes” limit. I want to try more builds without starting over:/
Better raise level cap to 70, there is so much content already that doing Gigs is basically pointless anywhere except Watson and Dogtown (Watson gives quick money and quick lvl10, which in turn gives free Tier 2 implants in The Ripperdoc; remaining gigs and ncpd locations allow to quickly get to lvl17 so that iconics in Pickup drop on Tier 3, and starting Heist on 20 gives Tier 3 implants which significantly flip the abilities. Dogtown gigs rain Iconics in each one - Waiting For Dodger even gives 2). Then you'll be able to do 15 16 20 20 20 in the endgame

I hope CDPR considers letting us reset our attributes more than once in future updates. I understand that the reason they dont let us is to support immersion and narrative consistency, but it ends up feeling unnecessary and limiting especially in a single-player game.

I enjoy experimenting with different builds and playstyles, and being locked into one attribute path makes it hard to do so. The only way to try new setups is by starting a whole new save and grinding back to the same point.

This isn’t a multiplayer game, so there’s no concern about balance between players. It’s my personal experience. I bought this game with my own money, and I should be able to play it how I want which means tweaking and adjusting my character to explore different approaches. Games like this should encourage player experimentation and not punish it.

I would love for a future update to have another edgerunners easteregg so that you can get a secret side mission or somthing that is at a maybe secret arasaka testing lab where you can go raid it for a mission and im not sayimg david is alive we allready know that from the edgrunners season 2 trailers but dont you think arasaka ismt stupid enough to let davids body go to wast im sure they took his body and was testing and examining it and im sure they took out his modded apoegee sandevistand and im sure like a year later they god ridd of the body they might have hept the brain but i know they kept the sandevistand becauase it was one of 2 in the world and if we can get it from a mission i would love to be able to have a larger amount of time slow, a rainbow like effect, and extended prrion of time for using it, and maybe some new diolog choices, and if they do add this the best thing they could do it gatekeep it till you get to s certain cyberwhere compacity maybe they will make V's compacity larger idk but it woukd be a cool addition to go with rebbecas shotgun and davids jacket

I made an extensive list of what many of us want either from future cyberpunk 77 updates or from the sequel here
go check it out guys :D

TLDR for those who don't want to go through all the stuff there --> "basically official mod support would fix everything".
