Final boss way too easy? (spoilers)
Just beat the game and thought it was spectacular overall but I have to say that the final boss felt like it was far too easy, especially considering how hard Imlerith and Caranthir were.
I played the game on Death March difficulty, was level 32 during the final fight so in no way was I severely overlevelled or anything but Eredin could barely even touch me. It almost felt like his damage was bugged or something. Every time he hit me I would lose maybe 5% of my health or something close to that. I swear drowners were doing more damage to me at that point. I´m not even being hyperbolic here, Eredin was literally dealing comparable damage to drowners.
By comparison Imlerith could kill me in three hits, he goes after you relentlessly and he can´t even be parried because of his heavy weapon. That was a great fight. Caranthir could also chunk my life bar like it was nothing. I almost got one-shotted a couple times against him. That was also a great fight.
Eredin? He hits for low damage, you can parry him, and you can rush him.
I think it would be great if Eredin got buffed considerably in a future patch, at least on the harder difficulty settings. This is after all a moment that has been built up since the first Witcher game and it just feels like you can hop and skip your way through it. I don´t even think his A.I. would need to be changed drastically, mainly just his damage output should be increased dramatically.
Game is fucking rocketsauce though.
