Find Lambert during "Ugly Baby".

Hi,

I can't find Lambert anywhere during the quest Ugly Baby at Kaer Morhen. I talked to him as soon as I got into Kaer Morhen to do his Circle of Power quest, but when he asked me if I wanted to go there directly I told him to wait a moment as I had to go back to Novigrad real quick. When I came back, he wasn't where I first found him anymore in Kaer Morhen's main hall, and his markers points to the same place as he was before, except there is an arrow pointing to the floor, as if he's under ground.

I thought there was some caves or something under Kaer Morhen, but I've explored the whole place and can't for the life of me find a staircase or a hole to access whatever is under the fort. Did I miss some corner of the place or is it a bug ?

Same problem

hi, got the same problem. It happened the same way as you describe it. It told Lambert to wait, and when i came back he was gone, and the questmarker tells me that lambert is underneath.
I also found another person who has the same problem.
I also do not have a savepoint before, so that would mean, that i have to start the whole game new, and I'm already lv 25...I'm really frustrated and desperate right now.
I hoped they fix with 1.03 patch, but i just downloaded it, and it's still not working...that really sucks.

I guess this is what you call a major bug, because I can't proceed with the main quest, what makes the whole game worthless.
I hope they gonna fix this, I'm definitely not gonna start the whole game new.

Same over here. The game is on a iatus for me until its fix :/

Guys, don't know if 'tis the case but I got a similar bug regarding other NPCs.
Sometime they don't load properly.
I fixed it by reloading/area changing/meditating and such.
It happened to me at least twice.

Hm... I never got this bug, but I'm curious... try using the debug console command mod, using free camera, and see if Lambert are actually spawned underground or not.

yes, it did several side quest after i talked to Lambert, and when i got back to continue the main quest, he wasn't there anymore. And i already had overwritten my quicksaves.
@Gerald01: No, thats an other bug, sometimes NPCs are spawning with delay, but not here with Lambert.
@DeGorro82: not possible for me, I'm playing on Xbox one.

Update: I'm level 29 now, Patch 1.05 was released for xbox now, but bug is still not solved.
Waiting for 1.07 now, CD Project said it will be a bigger patch with several bug fixes.
