First Person View with OTS Camera

Sorry if this has already been discussed but I searched through the forum and could not find anything on it.For the original Witcher, one of the community members made a great, yet simple, mod that enabled you to zoom all the way in with the mouse wheel with the OTS camera to allow you a first person view. The link to the thread for this mod is here:http://tw1.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=9696.0I am hoping that the developers can have something like this available when the game is released, maybe as an toggle in the configuration options somewhere as "enable first person view with camera" or something similar. How the mod works is that normally the camera can only scroll in to a certain distance over Geralt's shoulder, but with this mod you can scroll it completely in for a first person view. The beauty of this is that you can simply scroll back on the mouse whenever you need to see the area around Geralt, like in combat for instance.I feel this simple, yet effective, tweak to the camera really helps with adding to the immersion of the game for those of us that like to get further engrossed in the game world.

I also want first person view in Witcher 2. I played Witcher 1 all time only in first person view. If it would not be possible I would never played Witcher. I hope people will be able to mod game to gain first person view or devs allow to enable first person view by console or config file.

I don't like FPS view for combat.. What CDPR did for TW2 is perfect for me. It would be more immersive to have an FPS view when exploring but i understand the hassle to change camera when in combat. So i don't need FPS view. Also, i feel more epic when watching Geralt in action :p. Of course this is my opinion. Others may freely mod the game and people who like it can actually use it.

There was no 1st person view in The Witcher 1. Never even heard it before. Seems like there are mod to enable it, but it wasn't in the game originally. And I don't understand, why anyone would want it.

I have found out that Witcher 2 can be played in first person view. Unfortunately only 1.2 version. Just install Flawless Widescreen 1.0.6. http://wsgfmedia.com/uploads/thales100/Flawlessws_106.rar

Eh I wouldn't go FPS for a game like TW2. For one, you won't be able to look at Geralt doing awesome sword play. Then there's the finishing blows which will probably disorient many, then there's targeting...

And you get to look at his bum. And that glorious hair. Half the fun of the game is getting to follow him around the world.
