First Person View with OTS Camera
Sorry if this has already been discussed but I searched through the forum and could not find anything on it.For the original Witcher, one of the community members made a great, yet simple, mod that enabled you to zoom all the way in with the mouse wheel with the OTS camera to allow you a first person view. The link to the thread for this mod is here:http://tw1.thewitcher.com/forum/index.php?topic=9696.0I am hoping that the developers can have something like this available when the game is released, maybe as an toggle in the configuration options somewhere as "enable first person view with camera" or something similar. How the mod works is that normally the camera can only scroll in to a certain distance over Geralt's shoulder, but with this mod you can scroll it completely in for a first person view. The beauty of this is that you can simply scroll back on the mouse whenever you need to see the area around Geralt, like in combat for instance.I feel this simple, yet effective, tweak to the camera really helps with adding to the immersion of the game for those of us that like to get further engrossed in the game world.
