fix my problem

Ok so I bought the game through steam and I've redownloaded the game three seperate times already, the last two times running steam as administator and having my anti-virus off as well as my firewall. I've even tried deleting everything out of my steam folder except the steam.exe and steamapps. The game will finish downloading and will start performing first time set-up for patch 2.0, I will get this error Failed to open package file 'c:\program files(x86)\steam\sreamapps\common\the witcher 2\CookedPC\arena.dzip three seperate times. If I click ok it will eventually bring the launcher up, I click launch game and I will get up to the screen where I can choose to start a new game. When I click new game the screen will turn black with the loading logo on the bottom right hand corner for about a second and then it will crash to the desktop.

My PC specs are
Windows 7 64 bit
I5 2500k
Asus p8z68 v pro
Evga Gtx 580 running Dirctx version 11
8gbs ram
Corsair 850watt psu

Please help I've been trying to get this damn game to run for I don't know how long! :*(

Uninstall antivirus instead of just disabling it. Reboot and reinstall the game.

Run both steam and witcher 2 as admin.

0)Try setting MINIMAL specs under the launcher config option (just to see if it's a ctd related to video setting/bug)

1)If you want to download it again you could try removing the directory of TW2 in steamapps (You could make a backup with steam, uninstall TW2 and look if that folder is empty or there are old files)

2)Bakcup arena.dzip and move it to another directory, then try to run the game without it (of course NOT arena mode) if all work the right way you'll know that file is somewhat corrupted.

My apologies! Anyways...

I verified the game cache and it started downloading this huge 9gb file. After that I could actually play the game but it still starts preparing for first time set-up every time I launch the game and it will give me that arena.dzip error three times before the launcher actually pops up. Any thoughts on how I can fix this?
