Flimsy stash needs fixed in 1.08 or soon after

I'm glad that CDPR hurried up and gave us a stash, the game needed it badly. Stash should be in any open world, item inventory rpg at launch no question, but I digress.

Anyway, glad to have the stash, makes game playable, but this is the most flimsy, plastic feeling, rushed stash system I've ever seen. First of all, it needs refined to allow us to select the number of an item we want to store and do away with this all-or-nothing crap. But also, please don't put weight on books and then not allow us to store books. We can only store equipment and junk at this point, which I see why they didn't think we needed to store alchemy ingredients, although some of us just want to clean up our inventory to get rid of the load lag, but I at least get it. But why would we not be allowed to store books?? There are quite a lot of books in the game, which I love, I'm a lore junkie, and these books actually weigh quite a bit considering they are just books and that there are so many in the game. Please don't make me sell them, I love collecting them. As amazing as cdpr is, they don't seem to grasp the collectionists out there. First no stash, then limited plastic stash. Makes me wonder how this is the case considering almost every developer over there plays RPGs and knows the impulse to yearn to collect as much loot as possible.

But yeah, that's all I have. Fix the stash. Even the soft little click it makes when moving items to/from stash is weak, but that can be overlooked. Just allow amount of items stored to be specific, and either remove weight from books or allow us to store whatever the hell we want, be it weightless alchemy ingredients or heavy armor. I prefer the latter. Come on cdpr

hell no. Objects should be heavier books too. stash should not exist and since they did it it should be strictly weapons and armor. learn to manage your inventory instead of crying for a change. The only things they should have changed was fixing bugs nothing else.

Sorry bud, go make a sword and hop around outside and pretend your Geralt in real life if you want extreme realism. What is wrong with a stash? Obviously everyone wanted one, it was the big problem with the game. It was unplayable to me before the stash. It's not about managing your inventory, that's easy, but they put a ton of equipment and items and an extensive crafting system in the game, and then they don't let you keep it? This has nothing to do with managing your inventory, obviously with no stash hard decisions have to be made, but that's not as much fun. Everyone has no choice but to constantly manage their inventories. That doesn't change with a stash btw, still have to decide what to keep and what to sell and what to store. Oh, and in real life, Gerald could keep things, so if u want realism, you should want a stash, just not a linked system. I would rather be able to keep things. And btw, you're not right here bud, it's an opinion both ways, so don't speak so matter-of-factly like you're the last word here you dumb grit

Honestly, I think the only thing they need to do is get rid of weight on the books, or allow books to be put into the stash. Otherwise everything else is great for the stash system. No reason to have put crafting/ingredient materials into the stash when they have no weight at all. Books do not weigh so much, so really not that big of an issue. I am sure someone will make a mod to get rid of book weight.
