I tried this and it does work fine although it is annoying to have to constantly zoom in and out to read text but it IS better than nothing.Till its fixed, try this on PS4:
On PlayStation 4 you can enable "ZOOM" function. It really works for this issue. To Activate "ZOOM" feature on PlayStation 4 follow the steps provided below:Now that you have enable "ZOOM" feature, you can press PS Button and Square to ZOOM IN, enabling you to scan the screen using the left thumbstick. To exit/zoom out, press Circle"
- Go To Setting
- Select Accessibility Option
- Select ZOOM IN

Is the text honestly that difficult to read?
Playing on my 24" Monitor and I have no issues whatsoever, nor did I when I had the PS4 hooked up to our 50" SmartTV. Then again I prefer playing on my monitor.

No people are just making it up.....I have a 65" TV and I get eye strain all most immediately. It isn't impossible to read. It is just really hard on the eyes. Not everyone has the same eye health. I have 20/15 vision and I also have dry eye. It is very uncomfortable to the point where I won't even play it.
