Does anybody else thinks that Neymar could have passed the ball several times more quickly?

I didn´t get to watch the second half. Was the penalty kick given to Brazil so outrageously false as everyone here is claiming?

Because it is relevant here is a link dump to the groups and games just for ease.

@gedierond the ref made some stupid decisions all match as far as I'm concerned.

Ok, thanks for the comment. Probably some mediocre ref as is quite usual in World Cups, and not Brazil buying their way up to the finals as a lot of people is beginning to claim all around.

Refs still going strong with wrong decisions. 2/2 games causing discussions - at least this time they didn't influence who's winning as much.

Yeah, that penalty decision ruined the game for me.

I'm very much looking forward to Spain VS the Netherlands today,
it's going to be quite something~

Yeah, it should be a nice match. I hope we don´t see any flying kicks this time, though! :hmm:

Spoiler tagging just in case.
Beautiful goal by van Persie to tie going into halftime.

Mexico 1-0 over Cameroon is a big deal for the Mexico fans here, no matter what a soggy mess the game was. It also makes the Mexico-Croatia match interesting.

Well, that was unexpected... A fine spanking Spain got there! And what a great and entertaining match!

In other news: third game out of three with obvious referee failure.

So happy right now. Nobody here thought we would win, although we all hoped. What goals! Van Persie's magnificent goal, and the ones made by Robbe were crazy too! They all were, really! Yes yes yes!

Total defeat, I have to admit.

But my country will never give up, let's show the people we are still the best! :p

¡Vamos España!

Italy vs England was a good match. My son playing his own personal football match around the house: even better.

England is playing a lot. Beautiful goal after Italy's goal. But I believe the English and Italian players are suffering. Manaus is usually hot and humid, even at night.

Yes, the players were suffering in the second half. England's left side was inexcusably slack, the Italians exploited it time and again, and got the winning goal off it.

Costa Rica's upset of Uruguay was huge. And Pereira deserves to be sent home for that cheap shot.

Time to see what Ivory Coast can bring to the party. They have had tough draws the last two tournaments. Not likely they can beat Colombia, but beating Japan and Greece will get them second place.
