My only concern about large populations is figuring out which ones you can and should interact with. I would hate having to click talk with every single being to see if they can actually be talked to.
In W2 you could actually see that from the minimap, people that you could talk to were represented by blue dots in it. Not sure if it's the same in W3 though. Haven't paid any attention to it while watching the videos.
