Yea, that stone wall looks kinda odd on PC. I would have expected it to be tesselated.

The structure in general is not very well built and it does have some kind of displacement since it's not flat, nothing to do with PC. It's why they added those extra rock meshes to it earlier, as a bandaid but that probably didn't work very well optimization wise, adding extra meshes like that

You guys do realize they said that the console and PC will use the same assets, just that PC will support screen higher resolutions and a few extra effects like hair works and stuff. Also keep in mind that the target FPS on console is 30.

And what you discovered hot water, we PC players will get hairworks but you need Titan x level of card to run it well and do know (just one gpu cost 4x ps4) who need features for whom you need small fortune to run it well. We get unoptimized game with just ok visuals, nothing ground braking and far from best in gaming. YOU SLAP AS SO HARD WITH THIS ! ! ! @Marcin Momot please tell me that your team put same effort in PC as you did with consoles. Is this the best for PC version ?!

This is complete FUD. A 980 can run the game with hairworks on @80 FPS at 1080p.

And while we're on the subject, if people keep insisting on using FUD and hyperboles then this thread will be locked really fast.

"Optimization wise" ,please give me a break if they spended 1/3 of the time wasted in development and optimization they done on console's they could achieve much more than this level of performance and visual fidelity on PC.

Where are you getting this? IGN streamed the game on ULTRA, and they didn't have all the options available. No hairworks, no HBAo_On a 980, and you could notice some frame drops. Also am I shadowbanned or something?

My favourite online magazine specialized on PC hardware says no. And they have access to the latest PCbuild, without day one patch to be fair, which you do NOT have access to.

So guess what I do believe.

PS: Feel free to delete as this is your usual measure to counter constructive criticism.

I'm sorry that I'm transgressing around here, but in what universe is this constructive criticism, kind sir? Yelling and hyperbole is constructive? My whole life has been a lie it seems. Cheers and take care. See you guys after a month, after the game comes out; as I don't think I'll be able to see anything else in that time ;)

Because the downgrade can be seen now more plainly? Like, it couldn't have been seen earlier? LMAO.

And without the nvidia drivers, as with anything on the internet, take anything you read with a grain of salt. I'll try to look for the source, but I'm afraid even that won't change much I suspect.

If it is pcgameshardware or gamestar, then I have bad news for your argument there

Yes, I did.
I expected an IQ overall capable of pushing hard an enthusiast GPU like an 980.
Hairworks is just a sop. A demanding feature that really doesn't add anything ( rather make hair on characters look considerably worse or fake), and it is made by nvidia for the only purpose to sell GPUs.
In the current state, TW3 on PC is nothing different from Mass Effect, or any other multiplatform game. A console port which, at max settings, looks really close to the console version. And still, despite the no differences, you still need a 600$ GPU to run it at Ultra.

Even with the supposedly downgrade it still looks great, most importantly I hope it runs on my new PC. Only time will tell if an i7 5820k, 2666mhz ddr4 ram and an GTX 780 GB SC will run this max out at 60 FPS.

lol so CDPR should have made the console versions look like dirt? I'm confused, you people won't be happy unless CDPR releases the game at 720p on console just to make spotting the difference easier for your obviously aging eyes...these threads hurt my head.
