Any proof of this? How did you "contacted" support?Just contacted support, and they said there was no sharpenning filter added... so i just send then pictures of how the game looked and how it looks now... see what they answer
the patch removed 'watch to the screen' mode on photo modethis is problably a side effect to "enhance"the game look on consoles, and we got the shaft.
this patch also removed a bunch of poses from photo mode......
after this i sent them some pictures of the before and after as they asked, and still no answerAny proof of this? How did you "contacted" support?
Don't think they are answering any ticket right now due to the heavy load they must have.
Thank you.after this i sent them some pictures of the before and after as they asked, and still no answer
I tried and it still appears.Guys, maybe this super sharpening filter not apears if you are using DLSS? anyone can tried? but in my case, i cant use dlss with 1080TI.
I believe they forced TAA anti-aliasing into the game.Noticed this effect as soon as I entered the game after installing the 1.04 patch.
The sharpening (oddly enough) makes the textures (especially faces) look low res/worse, not better.
Game uses TAA yeah but the problem is imposing this kind of "sharpen" solution for everyone. I agree it could help in some configurations (upscaling from lower resolutions, some presets of DLSS etc) but for people playing at native resolutions the only thing this filter does is degrade the image/texture quality.I believe they forced TAA anti-aliasing into the game.
I think its a stopgap solution from them and they will fix it further in the future.
Personally I think that other anti-aliasing besides DLSS are needed, and I bet they will be added later on. Just gotta be patient..
ps. Nvidia users can use out-of-game Nvidia settings to force whatever graphical settings they want on the game, including Nvidias own sharpening. But this is something that only PC people can do, and also require some PC-savviness so is not everyones cup of tea. DLSS quality with Nvidias sharpening option seems to be the way to go currently.
