Why would you want evil people?

Because everything else is a childish depiction of reality. And that’s not what I am looking for in an RPG. Sure, that might differ in other people’s cases ...

was there any evil people in TW1?

Dude ... did you even play the game? Compare the society in TW with the one in Risen. Seriously.

Risen had plenty of faults but immaturity was not one of them for me.

What about the things I listed previously? Are these not signs of immaturity in your view?

I can sense a disturbance in the Force. I sense an impending battle. I sense you should move it to the "other games" thread before this gets out of hand. ;)

No disturbance to the force, it is calm. I will keep my mouth shut.

My problems and questions are » still the same.Hm, well, one new question/suggestion:
  • I want back the fan fiction community area former to be found at http://www.thewitcher.com/community/en/fanfictionI miss all the nice stuff there ... Or is there another place meanwhile where contest stories were saved?

There's a single Fan Art and Fan Fiction thread, which isn't really enough, since mixing story episodes with art works makes it hard to follow either one. But you can start a thread in the Community section if you have a work you want to post that's so long that it needs several posts.

thx, Corylea for this tip :) But espacially the contest winners stories (i.e. "The May Queen's Curse" by Corvinius) seem nowhere to be found anymore ... That's a pitty ...

I am a new person to this forum. The problem i usually face is to subscriptions they do not seem to open up from my email and then my manual navigation becomes laborious if there are many entries that would cause my post to be in the last 3 pages of the thread and then i would have to manually search. The visuals are no wonder stunning. But the core of any forum is the functionality... the more the better and the visuals to support itso in a nutshell we do have the visuals... we just need more better functionality incorporated in

We know that functionality is not perfect here. Especially we lack of an advanced search which is quite annoying. What do you mean with subscriptions? because there are many ways to see your own posts and the replies.

There are several option to to check threads you have posted in for new replies:# Your profile / settings / notification: customise your preferences.# Your profile / My posts = displays your latest written posts# Your profile / Followed posts = displays the topic titles of those you have subscribed# The forum overview / filter / show new replies = displays threads you have posted in and if someone has answered

I hasten to say what I think of The Witcher 2. I'm a fan of Sapkowski and-Witcher in particular. But the second Witcher will complete by shit. I now expand all the points: 1) Appearance of Geralt. Just compare the look of Geralt of 1 part and the second one. Now it's not Geralt of Rivii, Gvinbleyd, White Wolf, the Butcher of Blavikena and stupid western minced with American humor. Hair braided in pigtails - where did it go? Witcher always walked with white flowing hair, otherwise it is no longer Witcher. His face? The same is not Geralt! Do not you dare to insult the good memory of the first Witcher, calling it uebische Geralt! 2) Appearance Triss Merigold. Look for Triss in the first part - there boobs, cleavage, short skirt belt tenth grade at the graduation, stockings, etc. And now, your mother? Notorious and wrapped up like a nun, red bitch in the climax? 3) Only two stroke and a combination of them - what is it? Witcher turns into a dull fighting game for the single-celled. 4) Alchemy - judging by the interviews of developers to turn into a game - drove the ball on the moonshine, so he did not explode. " The same is generally just no words! Even poker in the first Witcher was much more interesting than this dull arcade. 5) Medallion. Developers solemnly complimented his new illuminated medallions ... Such an impression that is the main reason for pride. Witcher Medallion should create a calm impression of strength, not to seem normal color cheap rattle! For all these reasons, 2 Witcher loses its flavor and appeal, and becomes a regular fighting game with the beginnings of a plot for a single-celled American students, for which 2 strokes in the battle and 2 options dialog - is hardcore. The Witcher 2 is the usual pop. I can not believe that the CD Project RED can do this shit.

I voted the choice "I like the visuals but the functuality is not so great".The main problem that I have is that is keeps logging me out really fast.... sometime before I can finish typing a post..... which isn't too cool........ So please extend time out durations.... The other suggestion or wish for the forum I have is that you please make the signature area larger..... Thanks! Good job otherwise!!!

Wulfgore, if you check remember me in the login box, I guess your problem will be dealt with. I had the exact problem in the past, but since I started checking "remember me", the site doesn't log me out anymore.

Is there an option to move the last updated threads on top of the page?Something like this http://community.dawnofwar2.com/forums/community/forum-introductions (the first two are sticky they cannot move unless the admin says so)

Ahmm, I though thats what happens now, isn't it? But, ie, in the General Discussion, there are 9 sticked threads (or so), so the updated ones are moved to the 10th possition. Am I right?

To clarify ...you have important threads which are at the very top followed by stickies and then normal threads So in your answer you are correct
