Just for clarity's sake: That are two different things. Followed threads were those you could manually select and which would then show above the recent activity/10 latest threads on the old forums' "home" screen.

Yes, I meant some kind of a last activity, like on the old forum. Or section with threads with new posts since your last visit. Still considering :)

In all honesty though, really digging the new groove of the Witcher Forum! Haven't had much experience with it yet other than the layout but will stay around and see if any new cool features have arrived and post pros and cons with this change :)

EDIT: I noticed the "YouTube" icon as disappeared. Anyone know how to upload videos or is that feature still available?

Still there, it's the second last icon on the editor for inserting videos

gregski said ; All right, 529 pages of gaming history. But, as our RED overlords graced us with a Subforum dedicated to "Other games", this thread shall see its end.

Please continue to discuss other games you play/plan to play here: http://forums.cdprojektred.com/forum...ut-Video-Games

Please remember about the rule that there should be just one thread for a specific game, so please browse to subforum before you start a new thread.

why can't we create new threat "games you are playing now?" It doesnt make sense.

Huh, well I'm not seeing it. This is all I can find on the editorial page.

Go to the Settings - > general settings -> post editor interface and mark third one - standard editor with extra controls (names may be a bit different, I'm using Polish).

What is that doesn't make sense to you? We want to make the new forum more structured and tidy and you have a dedicated sub-forum for "Other games" with 1 thread per game. So if you're playing "Game X" you can post in the thread dedicated to that game. Simple.

I won't argue it's pointless, you must be expert at this. but on final note; It's wierd you can't discuss games you play, want to play or recommend titles to others like it was before in a single short post. There was nothing wrong with it. To write 3 words we have to create new thread.. I pass. thank you for your replay.

@gregski, I don't think @saoe is actually wrong, we do have such similar threads for music and movies/tv which are quite active and well running, and since we are all gamers here primarily the number of threads for a particular game will of course far exceed one of the other mediums (like a band or a show) so it makes sense having a sub-forum for having a thread specifically for each game. It's less cluttered that way. and more organized than messing up off topic, and that was the intention.
But suppose if I'm playing a game "X", it makes more sense for me to post in a "what you playing today" than posting in a thread just for it, leaving it dead if not many others are interested in it. And a person is more likely to view an-going discussion and look at what people are talking, and in that process discover something than viewing one specifically (or not, if it's lost being deeeead)
Like if I tell you in my personal experience, I remember watching Vikings because I saw people talking about it one, and there was never a thread specifically for it. And god I love that show, and I have people here to thank for. Now I probably wouldn't have come across if not for that collective thread wouldn't I?

So yeah, in short, it's not exactly a "wrong" idea. :)

Wow, this place looks awesome! Nice work, CDPR! I don't tend to like when certain sites change the layout for their forums, but this site turned into the better IMHO! Good work, and keep on making TW3 the best it can be ;)

Where did I say it's a "wrong" idea?

All I said is that there is "Other games" subforum right now, which has been created to make the "Playing other games" discussion more structured and clear. Please notice that if you post in a thread dedicated to a certain game it will move this thread to the top of thread list, so naturally the games people play most will be positioned higher.

Wanna find out about new games to play? Just browse the "Other games" sub-forum, it's far easier than browsing tens of pages of a single thread with lots of off-topic stuff, that's for sure.

Sorry, but I can't see any advantages of your approach.

Ah okay, maybe it's just a difference of preference. Maybe that's just some of us who don't mind browsing pages in a thread. In any case all cool, I just threw in my 2 cents, not that I was bothered with the lack of it.

@ondrexcz; You probably have to activate the advanced text editor by clicking on settings in the top-right corner, then general settings and for "Message Editor Interface" choose something other than the basic editor.
