From what I know, the game didn't receive any update since a good while (more than 6 weeks).
So if there is something different, it's not the game itself. So first I would try to perform a clean install of your drivers to be sure (or even rollback them to a previous version).

Yeah it sounds like it‘s probably either a gpu driver issue or a mod is affecting the performance.
So I guess the question is: did you update gpu drivers or install a new mod during these six weeks. That said, it's also possible that other software is affecting the performance negatively (like antivirus programs or anything else that’s running in the background).
If you installed new mods a clean install could be the way to go as was suggested before.
And yeah, if you installed a new gpu driver, it's usually really best to roll back to the previous version. Not every new GPU driver plays well with every PC setup and every game. If you have a driver that runs very smoothly, it's often better to stick with that for a longer time.
