Freedom of the Press still bugged

Literally the first patch note (https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/37043/hotfix-1-04) says:

Quests

• Fixed an issue with completing the final objective in Gig: Freedom of the Press.

But I cannot complete the quest. After escorting the NPC to the car the game tells me to leave the area. When I do this nothing updates, but the path on the minimap tells me to go to a specific point in front of the building. When I walk there, still nothing. I tried reloading saves from before this step or even restarting the game - nothing helps.

I reported the bug to the support but maybe there's a workaround until it's fixed?

I have the same problem, the worst thing is that in a previous game before patch 1.04 I had no problems

Yes exact same issue. Pre 1.04 I had no issues at all.

Hey I found a fix and got it to work, literally just head across the street toward the high octane sign and she calls you. my guess is the objective markers just in the wrong spot. hope it works for everyone else.

Bugged for me in another way. When I go to retrieve the bonus reward (Aramid vest) it does not finish the quest. I can take the reward but it still tells me to collect it. PC on GOG, 1.04.

I have a another bug for this Quest too. My Quest is automaticaly failing by entering the building.

Yup, just confirmed myself on another playthrough this is still bugged as of 1.06.

I'm with patch 1.06 and still the bug, It says I have to collect again but no "F" button to collect
