freez crashes all the time

Hi there cd Projekt Red.

Since maybe patch 1.03 or 1.04, I get crashes of the Witcher 3 all the time.
Before these patches, I NEVER had any crashes.
Since then, the game has become more and more unplayable because if freezes very very often.
Very annoying.
Often I can play maybe for 15 minutes, then the screen suddenly freezes (sound keeps on playing), I can still move the mouse but after some more seconds, the whole system completely freezes and I can't even go back to windows, I have to bruteforce shutdown the computer by holding the power buttons for some seconds.
Then reboot my computer, play for may another 15 minutes, and the same thing goes on again.
SOMETIMES, I can play for several hours until this happens, but not often.

Like I said, this was NOT happing before patch 1.03 or maybe 1.04, I can't remember.

What the heck is going on?
Please stop killing this game with patches that make things worse!!

Are you using Google Chrome?

I've had this problem for a month, and I tried absolutly everything...
Recently, I realized that closing Chrome (as well as the background tasks that appear in the bottom-right notifications) while the game is running completly solves this problem.

Same here, all the workaround don't help. Game is unplayable since weeks. Don't expect an answer, I opened a thread and replied to many others, but got no answers... Tried all work-arounds, but nothing works. It's got to be fixed, but 1.7 seems far away and we don't know, if this patch even takes care of this... I'm pretty upset and disappointed

There are multiple thread on this issue (by the way, I also have, & I have only steam & Nvidia GeForce experience & chrome (& only a few tabs open), & obviously some background low resource programs running like anti virsus, & I have yet hear anything from CDPR.

Crash is bad enough, but hard crash (that required hard button reset). I honestly do not remember the last time it happen that is not Witcher 3. Maybe back on XP days.

Thanks for your idea. No, I don't have Chrome installed. I also tried to close as much background software as I could. Did not change anything :/
And like I said, I think the problem did not exist before 1.03/1.04 patches.

Same here The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt on PC Unplayable now!

The Game crashes some times after 5 mins or an Hour but is crashs now 50 times this Problem is since i arrive the isle of Skellige, befor no problems in Novigard. But now Freezes and Crashes, so its not Playable! v1.07 needed.
