Still nothing... This kind of silence is why there are so many conspiracy theories about Nvidia.
We're talking about an industry in which workers are constantly being laid off and constantly switching between studios. From the top all the way to the bottom. We've heard of everything wrong that goes on in the industry but somehow, after all these years, Nvidia is controlling studio behind the scene and it never got out? Outside of Reddit theories I mean.
And ultimately.... Why? Why would Nvidia care? PC gamers are overwhelmingly team green, Nvidia just dominates the PC GPU market. Nvidia has never been in the console space. So why? What can they possibly gain by acting in this shadowy way?
Furthermore, why CDPR specifically? Why does Nvidia want to stop CDPR from releasing FSR 3.1? What's so special about Cyberpunk 2077? There are plenty of other big titles that have released since. Nvidia hasn't stopped FSR 3.1 in those? So why?
There is just no good reason for Nvidia to do this. They've got nothing to gain from this and stand to alienate developpers and players.
It's really hard to tell if FSR 3.1 is coming or not at this point and, personally, if there isn't an announcement for a patch this month, I don't think there will ever be one but I have no doubt that if there is no patch coming(or if FSR 3.1 isn't in it), it will be entirely CDPR's decision.
