Full Combat Rebalance 2 Mod isn't working propely

Didn't know where else to post it.

I have an annoying issue: for some reason it seems that only "half of the mod" is installed. The balance has change, the Quen parry has changed and perks has somewhat changed. However, the roll-dodge animation is still the same (but sometimes after sometime in battle it is suddenly changes to the pirouette) the automatic sword parry doesn't work at all and for some reason I can still unlock the 2nd level of the perks (which is written).
Help, someone?

similar problem here. seems like half the mod is installed: i have no parrys, i've the old skill tree animation, with (maybe) new effects since i cant upgrade my skill, but both skills are shown and i dont get described bonuses. could some1 post a link with the new skill tree description for fcr2? my ingame skill tree contents skills like "position, riposte etc.". and what i'm wondering about: i'm just lvl 4 yet, but ALL enemies met by now die within 2-4 hits... even i havent skilled anything yet and my sword is crap.

any ideas??

FCR (I guess it's the cause) made Steam not seeing that the game is running at all, thus unable to get achivements.

Redownloading files from Steam and reinstalling FCR helped, so it's what you have to do if you ever experience similar problem.

I'm having this same issue, but I have the GoG copy. It only seems to install half, still rolling everywhere, and it was literally working fine a few days ago. Did a clean install, still not working properly :(

I do not think that author intended to completely replace rolling animation with piroutte. Geralt should use both with FCR2. (Btw even in W1 Geralt did roll with some sword style).

It isn't supposed to completely replace the roll, but the bug we're having means he never pirouettes in combat except randomly, as opposed to always doing it and occasionally rolling.

So where is the bug? It's random, you're just getting unlucky streak.

Just to clarify that: Both, the roll-dodge and the pirouette are supposed to be in. The pirouette "unlocks" after a certain amount of "danger-level" has been collected, so you're able to evade faster.

It usually does, but only under certain circumstances (stamina level, adrenaline, the angle of the attack, weapon of the opponent and your skills, oh, and sometimes it just does not trigger...) I wouldn't rely on that auto-parry feature rather try to evade.

In the latest version there is no 2nd level of perks, all are one level skills - apart from the mutagen slots, they need a perk point to unlock and a mutagen to do anything.

You have started a new game after installing? Because some things you describe do sound like you have not.
The basic Witcher tree should be fully upgraded from the start, that's the easiest way to tell if the mod installed properly.
Are you playing the English version of the game, or are you using a different language pack?

The enemies dying that fast is reasonable (if they are human) depending on your difficulty. That's one of the re-balancing features.
