Hey flash is it possible to add rolling or pirouette animation to elite kingslayers?
Also i am no swordsman but wasn't the whole point to pirouette so you can parry attacks or rather defend yourself from all directions? Correct me if i am wrong but wouldn't it be reasonable to add parry while performing pirouette?

It is one of the ideas but not all.
moves like that are done for the purpose of changing the attack position & angle, not only deflect but also counter an attack, dodge charged attacks, gaining tactical advantage and . . .

I really find it difficult to dodge some attacks with it. Geralt get hit along the way.and about the Quen, it fades away after 2 sec and there won't appears any icon in the upper screen. is this intentional or am I missing something ?

NPCs have different skeleton than Geralt. They can't use the same animations.
Changes like these you mentioned would require new animations.

What about Geralt always rolling toward the foe when lock on is enabled?

To be clear, what I mean is you can only dodge in one direction when lock on is used, and that's toward the foe.

Flash, could you please tweak the input lag/unresponsiveness of the "active Quen"? It often fails to register in the most inopportune moments.
Can you speed up the animation of Geralt preparing to throw a projectile? This, to my knowledge, is an issue that has not been rectified, and is prevalent in all versions of the game.
Is there a reason why bombs such as the Dragon's Dream, Dancing Star, Grapeshot and Red Haze have zero effect on enemies?

Yeah, Quen parry failing to fire gets me killed a lot. Also the pirouette being fairly terrible at getting me clear..oh and parry not going off.

I find I abuse Aard a lot to get the job done. Aard and Igni for it's quarter-second stun. Otherwise, nearly no reliable defenses.

Not much of a swordsman, this Geralt.

Kinda wish there was just a mod to give Geralt pirouette instead of the roll and keep the skill tree and all. I just wasnt a fan of him rolling all the time

Rolling was silly - what a crazy defensive maneuver in a sword-fight. Pirouette is a bit extreme, but at least there is a certain..crazed grace to it. Now if only it did the job. Still prefer an active parry or auto parry that works.

Geralt's a Witcher he's allowed to be a little extreme. He's not allowed to roll on two sharp swords on his back

Pirouette seems fine and I find it easier to move around with it compared to roll. Even while spinning you can change the direction a bit compared to roll.

I find pirouette lets them hit me mid-move pretty often. Nekkers like to jump through and nail me mid-spin and so do Scoia'tael. It's fine if you have up to 2 on 1, but when they are jumping through each other and nailing you as you spin away, just after your Quen failed to fire and you never even saw an auto-parry go off..

yeah, it's frustrating.

There is no proper animation for this, not like TW1 had, which is why I say keep the rolling as is and let the other mechanics that Flash has introduced diminish player reliance on it. Trying to get rid of it is a mistake. Rolling is a part of the combat.

I'm saying replace roll with his Pirouette at least in combat

There is no Pirouette in TW2, or FCR2. He's used one of the flashy attack animations for a dodge when Geralt enters focus mode. I felt we could control the roll better, by cuting it short or streering it left or right.

I think the "flashy animation for a dodge (in) focus mode" is actually a pirouette since it is essentially by definition a move done by whirling the body.
